Tess shook her head, but had a devious plan.

"No no. I couldn't afford that. I'm just curious." She shrugged. "Hey, want me to go grab some lunch? I worked up an appetite." She asked simply.

Gregg laughed, shaking his head. "Nonsense. You know I pay for your food on delivery days. It's a little early. But I can hit the bakery. Just watch the counter for a bit."

Tess nodded, scooting to behind the counter. "You got it."

It didn't take long for Gregg to leave the shop. As soon as he was gone, Tess grabbed the potion and downed it. She looked at her hands. No effect.

"Okay, so it takes some time to kick in. Perfect." She smirked, quickly moving to mix together some random liquids. It didn't take long for her to mix together some colors to make a half decent replacement for the potion.

Tess put the fake potion back where the real one was and she watched her hands.

In a few minutes, her hands started to disappear. "Nice!" She grinned, quickly moving to a mirror. She was ready to strip down, but it seemed that the potion was turning her clothes invisible too!

"Magic is sweet!" She snickered as she watched her entire form fade away. "Oh shit!" She shouted as she stumbled to the back. She found a parchment and a quill and jotted a note to Gregg.

Her note explained that she was very sorry but she had to leave early.
