David dreamed of a beautiful scenario where Destiny was a separate entity from himself, not noticing that the separate entity was his upside down apparition.

"Wait...is this...?" He said before clenching his lips together as the still approaching ooze continued to build up outside his lips. He tried to use his hands to wipe the slime away, but it only prolonged the inevitable as, once on his hands it slid up his arms and back to his face.

"Why is it doing this?!" He wondered to himself while resisting the intent of the substance from entering.

2 was growing impatient so she grabbed his hands and held them down, "you know how this is going to go, just open your mouth and get it over with"

David still refused, he had gone long enough just letting things happen and look where it got him. No matter how futile things were, he was going to exhaust every resistance to his circumstance.

For whatever reason, he reflected back on his dream from the previous night. A vision of his upside down apparition flashed in his mind.
