Freeze the world

Mike knew exactly what he wanted to do. He pressed pause, and the world around him paused. A man outside was paused in the middle of a conversation on the phone. Two women paused in the middle of a jog.

Mike got to work, stopping by the cafe and taking the coffee which had just been made for the person in the front of the line.

He went over to the frozen female barista.
