“Enhancements? What kind of enhancements?” Jennifer asked.

“All of it,” Lauren said. “Padded bras, spanx, butt lifts sometimes, tummy tucks, shoe inserts, heels, everything that can make me feel like the confident woman that people know me as.”

“But why wear all these enhancements?” Jennifer asked.

“B-because otherwise people would make fun of me, they wouldn’t take me seriously, and I would look like a loser,” Lauren said.

“So why seek therapy? What changed?” Jennifer asked.
