Blending in

After calling in a favor owed by the head of the Women's Studies department, an older woman by the name of Mrs.Vaughn, Candice arrived on Bloomville State's campus as a new student. This wasn't fully an act, as the favor was only able to get her into the door and some preferential treatment regarding scheduling. Candice's first order of business was to find out everything she could about Alex. Not too difficult of a feat if one were to consider his reputation.

Candice walked into a nearby building and settled into her first class. Just as she sat, a steady stream of unfamiliar faces flower in. Unsurprisingly, the majority were women with the odd man dotting the group. Unfortunately, her target wasn't present. One of the men from the group saw her eyes linger on his face and mistook it for interest. His mouth formed a small grin and he walked over to her, sitting in an empty adjacent seat.

Oh great, she thought sarcastically, a distraction.

To his credit, the man was handsome in a rugby player cum lumberjack sort of way. He had a light tan with short cropped hair, that matched the full beard on his face. While he sat, Candice picked up whiffs of cologne and subtle hints of musk. Neither of which was unpleasant. He extended a hand towards her in greeting and Candice couldn't help but notice the muscles moving in his forearm and shoulder.

Still grinning, he welcomed her, "I can't say I have seen you on campus before, name's Trent."

Candice took his hand and gave it a shake before letting go.

"Candice, that's probably because I have never been on campus before. This is my first day here.", she replied.

"First day and they gave you Mrs.Vaughn? Most people have to fight to get into her classes. She's a rising star in this field."

Candice cocked an eyebrow, "That's news to me, I feel lucky to be here then."

At that moment, Mrs.Vaughn walked into the room and the class became silent. Impressive, thought Candice, usually getting students to quiet down is like herding cats. Though she could see why Mrs.Vaughn could command a room's attention with such ease,Mrs.Vaughn was an Amazon of a woman. She stood at over 6 feet in height, with obvious muscles under her blouse; her figure was incredible as well, with a narrow waist, wide hips, and a round ass. In another life, this woman looked like she would be saving the day with the rest of the superheroes. Mrs.Vaughn reached the front of the room, where she sat on a wooden desk and set a stack of papers down on the desk in front of her.

"Good morning everyone, I am Mrs.Vaughn and I will be your professor for Effective Leadership 301. Here we will learn how to not only lead but to know when to be led. I expect everyone here to engage with the material in their way and be receptive to new ideas and techniques. Since it is the first class, your only task is to take a syllabus and gather the required materials. If you are new, I request that you hang back for a minute." Mrs.Vaughn's voice was deep for a woman, but not unpleasant to hear and she spoke like someone unaccustomed to the idea of repeating themselves.

Candice sat and watched all the students head to the front and trickle back out of the main entrance. The only exception to the rule was Trent, who returned briefly to hand her a syllabus.

"No sense clogging up the works if we all need this anyway" he stated, "Hopefully I will be seeing you around". He gave her a small wave and left Candice and Mrs.Vaughn alone in the classroom.

Author's note: A slow burn to start, but my plan is for this thread to be much more conspiratorial. I expect the first sex scenes to appear in the 2-3 chapters. If you have any feedback, I would love to see it.
