“Amazing,” Samantha said watching from the palace garden in the heart of Atlantis.

“These have to be the largest runes I have ever seen,” Samantha thought smiling at the impressive spellcraft.

“We're lucky Atlantis city streets still have the carvings from the founding,” Ruby said floating up beside Samantha.

“I guess there isn’t rain erosion … down here,” Samantha said looking up to the giant arcane bubble over the city.

“This city is a marvel,” Ruby said turning back to watch the glowing streets.

In the throne room, High Singer Taylor Swift gripped the ‘Trident’ tightly in both hands. She sang the ‘Seeding Ritual’ as Luke fucked her from behind.

Everyone jumped again as the ‘Trident’ was dropped a second time.

“What’s wrong?” Rebecca asked reaching out to help Taylor up.

But just as Rebecca grabbed Taylor’s hand she let go in surprise.

“Your hands!” Rebecca shouted in alarm.

Everyone froze as Taylor raised her hands. They were burnt and blackened.

“I can’t,” Taylor said in pain.

‘Quick! Someone grab the ‘Trident’. Summon all the ambient ‘Soul Energy’ as we planned,” Charlotte shouted.

A tall undead skeleton in thick robes floated in a bubble outside the Atlantis city shield walls.

“Genie, what is going on? I can sense an influx of Life Energy,” Dr. Blood asked his arcane servant.

Nightmare-Moon rolled her eyes and scanned the city. Her ‘Mind’s Eye’ spell quickly identified the source.

“The influx of localized Life Energy is from 20,000+ Sirens just becoming mothers,” Nightmare-Moon said before going back to reading her book.

The Lich ignored his servant’s sass and began tapping his bony foot in the bubble.

“Fine, it’s a ‘Seeding Ritual’ … happy?” Nightmare-Moon said floating at the top of the air bubble.

“A ‘Seeding Ritual’? Are they trying to summon Poseidon from the Elemental Plane of Water?” Dr. Blood thought in alarm.

“The fools, that won’t work. He is not scheduled to awaken for another 1,000 years. All they achieved was to add more life to a doomed city … about to be eaten,” Dr. Blood thought before looking to his army of undead puppets.

His giant army tirelessly worked to deplete the shield walls.

“Soon,” Dr. Blood mused.

But just then the Lich felt all the growing ‘Soul Energy’ disappear.

“All that mana, nothing can absorb that much energy without getting destroyed. But if they instead use it too ...” Dr. Blood thought.

In a panic, he turned to Nightmare-Moon.

“Genie! I make my 2nd Wish. I wish you to counter the next spell that attacks my forces,” Dr. Blood said in a rush.

“As you …,” Nightmare-Moon said before frowning.

“Sorry Master, A ‘Devine’ spell cannot be countered. It can only be redirected. Please designate a new target,” Nightmare-Moon said annoyed.

As she spoke a golden ray shot out of the palace. It was aimed directly at Dr. Blood’s army.

“Back at the sender,” Dr. Blood shouted in reply.

The light grew closer and the Lich raised his arm to shield his unblinking eye sockets from the bright light.

“As you wish,” Nightmare-Moon said before …

Luke cried out in pain as his hands burned from the heat coming off the ‘Trident of Atlantis’. He was channeling all the ambient ‘Soul Energy’ from the recent 20,000 conceptions. Everyone shielded their eyes as the Life Energy was focused and shot out over the throne room balcony.

ZZZZZZZzzzzzz … zzzzz .. zzzz .. zzz .. zzip.

The ‘Trident’s laser beam of light slowed before abruptly stopping.

Luke fell back but didn’t fall. Shannon, Ashley, and Liz caught him.

“You, okay?” Shannon asked concerned.

“Hot, Hot, Hot,” Luke cried as his hands were stuck to the burning hot ‘Trident’.

But before anyone could react. A new beam of pure light shot back at the palace.

“What is that? It looks like another ‘Devine Smite’ spell,” Ashley asked pointing.

“Shit!” Luke said as he was hit with the Life Energy attack.
