Deciding it was pointless to argue anymore Lara said, "if after everything i told you about how scared i was with the thought of never seeing home again or even being a person again you still take her side, forgiving her again like it was nothing then you leave me ****, i am done with this family", "no wait" Kate called after Lara as she slowly went up stairs only narrowly avoiding knocking over Abby as she went past her, in her room she was calmly folding some clothes and packing other essential items into a large bag while thinking of where she could go, with no friends and knowing her extended family would take moms side her options were limited to asking a teacher who knew of her curse or use what little money she had to rent a small place until she could get a job.

"One thing is for certain, staying here any longer would be bad for all of us" Lara muttered to herself as she finished packing, once she reached the bottom of the stairs she noticed Abby had been removed from the outfit which was now draped over the back of the sofa, shame she thought, if Abby could have spent some time being used as a thing like she keeps doing to me then maybe she could have finally understood what i go through and then possibly sympathize with me, but now she will learn nothing and if i stay here she will just do it over and over again like she has always done.

Kate was waiting by the door "please don't go, we can work this out together as a family" Kate begged, "its too late for that mom, Abby will never learn without proper punishment and you need to understand because of that one day i might not come home so you need to know what that will feel like, good bye", leaving home was hard but it was the only way Lara could see to change things so she didn't look back while heading straight for the bus stop, during the wait for the bus she had to decide where she was going to go, there were some cheap apartments on the shadier side of town which were always available, student accommodation was possible but most likely full at this time of year or lastly she could ask a teacher to let her stay until she could get a job and then a better apartment.
