An outing with Grace (part 1)
That immediate morning, I woke up with a small headache. I couldn’t completely remember what I’d dreamt about, but I thought it was something about my sister. All I really knew for sure was that I had an urge to see… my friends.
I wanted to see Thomas, and I wanted to see Mila, Grace and Sarah even more. The rest of the week went by without any more drama, thankfully. I spent time at school with the girls and sometimes with Thomas. Before I knew it, Friday night had arrived, and though I had no plans for that evening, I had plans for the rest of the weekend.
My homework was completed, my house chores taken care of, and I had permission to return late (By 11:00 pm at most). The only bad thing was that I was way too excited for it. At school, the girls still stayed close to me, letting me touch them and even kiss them. But that was it. There were no mid-recess blowjobs nor full on sex during lunch break. Both Grace and Sarah wanted to save it for the weekend.
Honestly, it made it feel like a special occasion, which I thought it wasn’t supposed to be. This was just an outing, right? Just two friends hanging out. But neither Grace nor Sarah were making me doubt for a moment we’d be having sex. Then again, maybe they didn’t think that was special?
See how the mind goes in circles with this shit? Can you blame me for falling asleep at four in the morning?
My fears of not hearing my alarm kept me on edge and made me wake up earlier than I was supposed to. Grace had planned everything and was keeping it a surprise. She wanted to meet early to enjoy the entire day.
Now, as you may imagine, I don’t leave the house much, and certainly not on my own. Not because I don’t want to, but because I don’t have many reasons to. The school is close by and when we need to do some shopping (for food, clothes or something else), we go as family and mom drives us. My point here is, I don’t often use public transport. I had to check the bus routes like six times last night to make sure I wouldn’t get lost. The entire ride to the meeting place was spent looking out the window with my heart in my throat, fearing the bus would suddenly take a turn it wasn’t supposed to.
Despite all that, I made it to the meeting place in time. The city’s biggest plaza, right by the water fountain at 9:30 am. I thought I felt people’s gazes on me, so I checked my outfit one more time. It wasn’t anything fancy, but I tried to look presentable. A black t-shirt with an opened short-sleeved white shirt over it, blue jeans and black and white sneakers. I didn’t look weird, did I?
I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. Grace was still not here. I looked around, but no sight of her. I checked my phone to notice only three minutes had passed. Goddammit.
She arrived five minutes later. I saw her before she saw me, but she was walking towards the assigned meeting spot regardless. She only noticed me when she was about 3 meters away.
“Oh, so it WAS you!” she laughed. “I got so used to seeing you in school uniform that I almost didn’t recognize you.”
I had recognized her, but I could totally relate.
In the same way I had truly seen Mila naked for the first time back at the hotel, this time I was calm enough to appreciate seeing Grace in a casual outfit instead of her uniform. She was wearing a pink shoulderless blouse with long, puffy sleeves; a long light blue skirt that reached well below her knees; and some elegant white shoes brought the outfit to a close. Or at least, that’s all I would’ve noticed if our talk about compliments the other day hadn’t made an impact on me. That Grace had her usually braided hair into a high ponytail didn’t escape me, but she was now wearing some small, pearl-like earrings and a thin chain necklace. Her makeup seemed more elaborate, but for my life I wouldn’t be able to tell you how. Her lips were shinier than usual, and her gaze looked deeper and more piercing, but to this day the magic of makeup eludes me. Her look was surprisingly conservative, but no less cute and alluring for it.
Anyway, so I managed to notice all that. Was I going to stay silent? Hell no! I had to say something.
I managed a smile and nodded. “Same here. Pink and blue suit you nicely, too. And… I like the earrings. T-They look nice on you.”
Grace chuckled and did a little spin. “Mila and Sarah are a bit flashier, but I like this style.”
“You look g-great.” Dammit! Don’t stutter! “I like the ponytail, too.”
“Really? I’m glad.” Grace laughed. “I was afraid you’d think I got lazy and didn’t do my usual braid.”
I shook my head. “It’s different. You look… really nice.”
Were my ears on fire? They felt on fire.
With something like a satisfied smile, Grace stood next to me, hooked her arm on mine and leaned her head on my shoulder. “Our conversation the other day really stuck, huh?”
I flinched. “That obvious?”
“Yes. But I’m glad you’re putting it into practice. Good to know things don’t go in one ear and out the other with you.”
“Why would that be the case?” I asked, curious.
“Oh, you have no idea. Some people love the sound of their own voice too much to care about what others have to say.” Was it just me or did she sound a little bitter? “Aaaanyway. You didn’t eat breakfast, right?”
“Yeah. You said not to.”
“Hungry?”
“Very,” I admitted.
“Good, because we’re going to a breakfast buffet.”
Oh!
“They stop serving it by 10:30, and I already wasted enough time looking for a parking spot. Shall we?” Grace asked me that with a smile and a cute tilt of her head.
“Yes. Is it close?”
“Yep. Just one block away. Oh, and Oliver? You look really nice, too. I like those jeans.”
Out of the entire outfit, the jeans were the only thing I’d bought myself.
