I put down the list and looked at the... being sitting on the other side of the table.

“Shall we begin?” He asked.

I looked down at the sheet... and checked the first option - NEMESIS PACT

The being in front of me laughed.

“You start with this?”

“If I am to become an Ederich Mindslaver... I might as well play in the big leagues... go after some sexy godesses~”

“You don't aim low~” The being smiled.

I turned back to the sheet. I gulped as I realised that if I wanted to survive... sacrifices needed to be made.

ELDRITCH HORROR, UNNATURAL AURA and VAMPYRISM were the drawbacks I marked. There was no pretending that I would be anything else but a monster. Following the 'theme' I marked PARASITES and HIVE MIND.

I paused.

Next, I choose CHARM, SENSITIVITY and INDUCE FETISH – mostly it would work nicely with HIVE MIND. Make slaves fall for each other make other slaves, and even control their sexuality and fetishes.

Next, I choose CONDITIONED ****. The PARASITES take long to hatch – conditioned slaves could be trained faster, and then the parasite could be re-used on someone else.

AGE MANIPULATION – because I did not want to waste time replenishing my **** ranks because they died of old age... I could go with immortality... but if someone was not good enough to survive, I would not give them second chance.

COMBAT TRAINING was the next thing I choose – this way I could easily get skilled minions en-mass – once I had enough parasites.

Next, I marked TELEKINESIS – for my personal power. Ability to destroy high buildings was quite a boost.

DREAM WEAVING was another thing I choose – the ability to enter someone's dreams... was a possible source of entertainment as well source of information.

Next, I choose probably the most important of things – PLANESWALKER.

“You do realise-” I looked up at the being. “That contract with Nemesis already will allow you to travel between realms?”

I froze.

I leaned back in my seat and started considering the choices. I could choose one... or both?

I would probably clash with powerful opponents anyway... but did I want to spend eternity in service?

After some thought, I decided to with PLANESWALKER. I removed the NEMESIS PACT.

I looked at the sheet and frowned. I was 4 points on minus. I removed HIVE MIND... then choose DEUS VULT – that seemed simple enough.

“Just for your information – you will find such a group haunting you in every dimension you will go.”

I looked at the being.

“Really?”

“Indeed – they will be encouraged by lesser goddesses, all in service of the pantheon that is opposed to Mindsslavers.” The being smiled. “It's all part of our game~ It will be quite entertaining to see you clash with them~”

I smiled in return.

“Then I guess, I know where to strike to remove the opposition~”

The being nodded with a soft laugh.

“And the ****?”

“Melissa.” I said without hesitation. After all, she was the most powerful one among the choices – and watching the powerful fall, was something I wanted to see~

The being nodded.

“Then, getting her... should be a good tutorial, no?” The being laughed as it opened a portal. “Good luck in that Fantasy setting~”

I looked at my choices for the last time.

Yes... this was what I was going to go with. I got up and walked through the portal. As I was passing through, the being addressed me.

“Good luck, Mindslaver... and be prepared for the pain of change... newly born Mind Flayer~”
