Meanwhile…
Jess is in hot water
While Mark and the others prepared for their college prom, there was a certain feisty young junior girl that was running late for the night ahead.
Inside an empty women’s bathroom was Jess, alone with her thoughts. She stared at the bathroom mirror, looking at herself. Just few tears had smudged her mascara that was running down her cheeks.
With something clearly in mind, she was quite emotional.

Four hours earlier…
Jess walked inside an almost empty classroom, the only person inside was one of her professors. A young male professor who was quite handsome and a favourite of Jess’s who had more than the occasional sexual run-in with over her time at college.
“Thank you for coming in on such late notice,” he said, putting down his pen and watching Jess walk inside.
Sitting down on top of the front table in front of his desk, Jess pulled out her phone, not understanding the seriousness of the moment. Her hair was up in a bun, sitting there in casual clothes, about to get ready for the prom.
“Just make this quick, a girl needs every minute she can get to get herself ready for a night like this,” she told her professor, sitting on top of the front desk table,
The professor got out of his own desk chair and walked around, getting a bit closer to her.
He sighed, fixing his glasses as he leaned up against the front of his desk. Just by the way he moved around and the expressions on his face, Jess began to worry that something a little more serious was up. This wasn’t the usual sort of reaction she was given when she came into his office or classroom after hours.
“Jess, I have to be honest with you,” he started to speak in a low tone, “I’ve seen your exams and I can’t be anything but blunt here… Jess you’ve flunked them… you’re going to fail the semester and therefore the year.”
Jess put down her phone on the table besides her, not panicking yet but certainly concerned.
“How definite is that fail mark?” she asked.
“It’s a certainty.”
“I mean… there’s got to be something I can do to make it up…” she said, getting up and stepping forward, eyeing him off, straight back into her seductive flirty ways.
She was more than prepared to work for her grades in other ways… but it wasn’t going to work this time.
The Professor shook his head, keeping his distance from the cock tease, “No Jess… I’m being serious here, there’s nothing I can do for you.”
It was almost panic stations now…
“Look…” she started to speak again, taking a deep breath, her playful side now replaced with genuine fear that she was in trouble here, “I’ve had issues at home, mom’s living with this awful junkie… I had to leave home and now she won’t even return my calls… I know my results aren’t that flash but it’s not my fault, it’s been a rough year for me.”
“Jess I understand that, I really do but it’s not like this isn’t the first warning I’ve given you about this,” he said, straightening up, “Instead of asking for the help when you needed it, you decided to fool around even more, my hands are tied here.”
Her mouth was parted open, her eyes starting to water, the realisation of why might just happen here.
A fail would mean repeating her whole junior year again. It didn’t sit right with her, it suddenly felt like the whole world was turning against her.
She felt sick in the stomach…

Current time…
Jess still staring at her mirror, inspected her face and worked on clearing up the smudged mascara before she was about to head out.
Once she was satisfied, she pulled up the side of her dress high enough until she could see the lacy black garter she had on underneath. Tucked inside the lace was a flask full of straight alcohol.
Jess pulled it out, unscrewing the top of the flask with her slightly shaky hands. The brunette took in a very deep breath before she put the flask to her mouth, swallowing as much alcohol as she could in one go.
She made a minor shrieking noise as she shook her head after copping the taste of it.
Once it was safely hidden under the dress once again, Jess composed herself one last time, re-assessing her make up.
“Come on Jess,” she spoke to herself in front of the mirror.
“It’s your night… this is your kind of night… pull yourself together…”
Doing everything she could to put the recent news out of her mind, not wanting to think or deal with any of it, Jess regained a bit of her natural confidence and persona about her back.
She wouldn’t be missing out on tonight.
