A plan comes together

As usual, the girls are waiting for you when you get home. Unsurprisingly, Mazzy drags you over immediately, clearly excited about her day.

“Dakota and I met Sirona. She’s so cute! Nervous and self conscious, but adorable. We have to get her here.”

Dakota nods. “Agreed! I just want to hug her and squeeze her!”

You laugh as you get comfortable on the couch. “You didn’t scare the poor girl, did you?”

Mazzy gives you a look. “Oh come on, you know me better than that. We were very polite!”

Dakota giggles. “I did call you daddy once, which confused her, but otherwise we behaved. She really is a sweetheart.”

You chuckle. “Well, I’m glad you two approve of her. Ellie, Kenna, do you have any thoughts?”

Ellie smiles. “I’ve n-never met her, b-but she sounds nice. I w-wouldn’t mind someone quiet t-to hang out with.”

Kenna nods. “I only know her in passing, but from everything I’ve heard, she’s a lovely girl. And I think she would fit well here. You’re a sweetheart yourself, my mate, so you’re a good match.”

Mazzy speaks up. “Also, I already got in touch with the contractor. They’ll start work tomorrow!”

You look at her and laugh. “That’s quick. Did they say how long it would take?”

Mazzy shakes her head. “They estimated about a week, but they won’t know for sure until they start working.”

Dakota nods. “And they’re a trusted company that works with the AWIO regularly, so we know they’re cool.”

You chuckle. “That’s good. Well, I guess we’re moving forward with this, then. I’ll talk to Sirona tomorrow.”

Mazzy claps her hands excitedly. “Yay! I’ll be staying here tomorrow, to keep an eye on things.”

You look at the smiling little halfling. “Did you want someone else to stay with you?”

Mazzy laughs. “Why, are you worried I’ll fall for one of the big, strong construction workers? I already have you, my love, and you’re all I need.”

Ellie interrupts. “D-don’t get to cozy, Mazzy. Y-you promised…”

Mazzy giggles, kissing your cheek. “I did. He’s all yours tonight, Ellie.”

You look between the two diminutive women, and they both smile at you. “Did I miss something?”

Dakota laughs. “I think Ellie wants you to herself tonight, daddy.”

Kenna nods. “She wants special attention. We agreed to leave you to her, tonight.”

You chuckle, stroking Ellie’s soft blue hair. The goblin girl snuggles close, sighing happily. After a moment, she looks up at you.

“I hope y-you don’t mind. I l-love when we’re all t-together, but…”

You smile, kissing her softly. “But you want some time alone with me as well.”
