Wake up and greet the dawn

The next morning Lauren awoke, dressed and came downstairs. She found Jade waiting for her in the kitchen.

"Hey Lauren!" Jade said cheerily. "Good news, we're not doing any farmwork today."

Lauren breathed a sigh of relief.

"Instead I'm going to take you to the lake!" Jade explained.

"Oh. But, I don't have a bathing suit." Lauren pointed out.

"Oh that's fine, you can have my old one." Jade explained.

"Well... I mean..." Lauren did not want to go to some filthy pond wearing god knows what hand-me-down her cousin gave her.

"Great, it's settled!" Jade cut her off.

"Wait, wait a sec!" Lauren said. She then ran outside. If she could get her padded bra and Spanx she could at least look her best under the bathing suit, whatever it was! She'd have to hide the legs of the Spanx, but she could figure that out...

Lauren froze. Her bra, her falsies, her Spanx... they were gone!
