Reunion.

The next morning found Arerto and Cheytelle roused early by Isabella who informed them that Cheytelle was going to the prison mines and Arerto would be going with Isabella. To this end, Cheytelle was dragged out and shackled and led away to the mines by two burly guards while Arerto was pulled out and fitted with an eyeless hood. Blinded she could only feel her arms pulled behind her back and rope used to bind her wrists and elbows making her breasts stand proud. When she had been readied she was escorted to a wagon and thrown roughly into the back and the wagon moved out of the prison and out of the city heading for Isabella's private residence. The sun was climbing higher in the sky as the wagon moved along the dirt road passing several hamlets heading further away from the city. Isabella sat upon her steed thinking of the fun she would have with her new captive and congratulating herself on capturing two high-ranking members of the amazons.

The sun had passed its midday azimuth as the wagon stopped at a hamlet and the troopers took food and water. They even fed Arerto and soon the wagon was on the move again heading towards the final destination. Arerto was deep in thought knowing she would soon be reunited with her lover and then they would escape. As the wagon moved the heavens opened up and rain poured down onto the road turning it from dust to mud which cloyed around the wheels causing progress to slow down. Arerto shivered from the cold as the rain came through the bars of the wagon drenching her and generally making her feel miserable. However, she would not show this in front of her enemies and again Isabella wrapped in her cape admired Arerto's strength and she smiled to herself. She would enjoy breaking Arerto to her will and then she could present her to Marcus the ruler of Hansmead and he would reward her with more land.

Eventually, they arrived at the residence and Arerto was removed from The wagon and pulled and dragged into the basement and secured to the wall by her wrists and ankles. Magda joined Isabella and they hugged and shared a kiss before Isabella removed the hood from Arerto and Magda gasped "well well well Isabella do you know who this is" Isabella explained that this was the commander of the amazon army. "No no Isabella this is Princess Arerto daughter of Queen Alcippe heir to the Amazonian throne. She is also Helena's lover and I am guessing you caught her trying to find Helena." Isabella explained that she had given herself up. "Isabella she did not give herself up to make your life easy. She gave herself up in the hope you would bring her here and you did" Isabella looked from Magda to Arerto "Then she will die by my hand." Magda shook her head and explained that she would be a useful bargaining chip and should not be killed. Isabella agreed and the two left Arerto chained to the wall while they decided what to do with her.
