"You know, you're a very beautiful woman, Laura," I said.

"Thanks, Alex."

"Do you work out?"

At this, Laura perked up. As it happened, she was an avid gym rat, and she lit up as she told me about her exercise routine. Eventually I laughed. "I work out, sure, but nothing like you!"

Laura smiled at me. "Well, I think you look pretty good."

This relaxed Laura was a whole different animal from the shy, embarrassed Laura. I liked her! Though I also had to admit, there was something exhilarating about knowing I could embarrass her whenever I wanted.

"So do you have special clothes for working out?" I asked.

"Yeah, of course," she said.

"What do you wear?"

"Oh, nothing fancy," she said. "Usually just yoga pants and a sports bra."

"No panties?" I joked.

"Hey, of course!" she laughed.

"Well, I didn't want to assume." I paused. "What size sports bra?" I tried to hide my smile as I watched the question land.

"Oh, um... I'm a 32 C."

"Oh really? I had you pegged for a B." Laura just averted her eyes and smiled. "Here, let me check," I said, reaching for her shirt. She recoiled at the sudden groping, pulling away from me.

I adopted a stern tone. "Laura, I thought the terms of your bet were that you had to do whatever I said. And I said, let me check."
