The judge isn't happy!

There was a long moment of silence as the judge contemplated the lawyer's words.

"This is absurd." He shook his head angrily, taking off his glaces and rubbing his brow in annoyance. "This sort of social justice posturing, woke protest nonsense is no defense for her actions."

Lauren's eyes widened. She looked to her lawyer who looked equally surprised by this angry reaction.

"Making a political statement does not allow someone to break the law." He said, glaring at Lauren. "Adding to that, you've shown blatant disrespect for the court by dressing so inappropriately for your own trial!"

Lauren, now feeling incredibly on the spot, looked down in shame, crossing an arm over herself and tugging down at her skirt.

"And another thing: body shaming exists for a reason. Obesity is a huge problem in this country and not just something to be accepted! We don't need naked overweight women running around, telling everyone they have to accept their unhealthy appearance!"

Lauren's cheeks burned furiously. She looked to her lawyer, who shrugged apologetically at how badly this was going...
