Luck holds out

Miraculously, as you and Lex took the alleyways and back roads, neither of you were spotted by anyone else as you streaked to the one story house that Lex called home. The two of you made it to the fence that separated the two yards as Lex opened the gate, allowing you both to scamper through as Lex closed and locked the gate behind her. Making your way up to the back porch, Lex reaches underneath a potted plant and pulls out a spare key, using it to unlock and open the back door as you both make your way inside the house before closing the door behind you.

Once inside, the two of you simultaneously plop down onto Lex’s couch, taking a deep breath as the events of today replayed in your heads. This had surely been a rollercoaster of a day.

“You thirsty?” Lex suddenly asked, to which you respond with a nod.

Lex gets up from the couch and walks into the kitchen, your eyes glued to her butt as she left the room. “Hey, um, Lex?” you ask as the girl looks you in the eyes. “I know that we just did everything out of order, but are… are you doing anything tomorrow night?”

“Y-you mean, like a date?” Lex asked, a smile growing on her face as you nod in confirmation. “Hell yes, we’re going on a date after today!”

“Dad asked me to take some of his old clothes down to the thrift store over the weekend, so I’m sure he won’t mind if you took some to get home.” Lex responded nonchalantly. She then donned a sly yet seductive smile as she added, “Although, it’s Friday and he won’t be back until Wednesday. If you want, you’re more than welcome to spend the weekend with me.”
