He turned to look at her, "Oh, good my dear. It work. Welcome to my Study outside of Time. A place I can go to in these troubling times. I'm glad that my Time Scoop managed to collect you from your imprisonment."

"Mr. Wells! I need your help. Clark..." started Lois before Wells interupted her.

"Sorry to be rude, but I know. Ms. Church has enslaved Clark to her will and has used mind control to take over the city. Yet, it's worse then you know. Ms. Church isn't working alone on this. Tempus is helping her along."

"Okay, that makes sense. So how do we fix this?"

"I don't know."

"But don't you have a time machine? Can't we just go back before all of this happens and prevent it?" asked Lois, frustrated in the man's answered.

"Normally, it would be that simple. But there is some kind of... for lack of a better explaination, a temporal storm between when Tempus likely had his meeting with Mindy and about the time I scooped you up. It prevents any kind of travel to that period in the timeline. An attempt just spins you off into one of an infinite parallel universes.

But it gets much, much graver then that. The Utopia created from the union of you and Clark... has vanish from this timeline."

"So, Tempus is involved. That explains where Mindy is getting her tricks... but what do you mean Utopia is gone? I thought that was the future?"

"From what I can tell, the version of Clark we know is gone. Replaced by 'Clarkie', the version of Mindy's creation. it's her version of 'Utopia' the future has morphed into. One, which Tempus would enjoy. It gets worse, which is why I summoned you for help.

In the coming days, Mindy will develop the same powers as Clark. Combined with the help Tempus gives her, the future she is making will become more permanent. Which wil make derailing it much more impossible. So we need to develop a good plan, or else all is lost."
