Powers Gathering

"Do you have any idea where to start?" Lois asked the Sci-fi pioneer, hoping he had an answer.

"I might have an idea. If need be, we might be able to restore elements of Utopia if we can create a replacement for Clark. Even if just for a short time. Allowing us a better option of restoring the universe as we know it." was the englishman's reply.

"You're going to bring in the Clark from the parallel universe to help us?" She remember the time when her husband had been trapped by Tempus, so to save the day they had used a version from another universe.

"No, as long as Mindy has Tempus' aid, she would just take control of him. Giving her two Supermen under her control. We need a hero who has a similar power level as Clark but immune to the Jezebel's charms....

Which gives me an idea. Just let me look into..." said Herbert as he began to move to read some notes he had on his desk for answers.

Back in Metropolis...

Clarkie had just finished work on the device which would empower Mindy with the same power as his own. After the first couple of time he had discovered the transfer involved using energy to 'program' human cells to replicate the abilities of similar Kryptonian cells. Electricity through a metal medium being one of the easiest methods. Doctor Gretchen Kelly, an old lover of Lex Luthor's had developed more on the process, but with Clarkie's powers he was able to update the machinery.

Now it was just a little pillar with a orb with two handles on it. Plus an electronic lock with a complex code to keep people from using it, even if it was more then likely to be destroyed after Mindy used it. Mindy had wanted a few days to get her plans in order before using it. But from the test rats, it would work perfectly. Permanently.

While this was going on, the soon to be Ex Mrs. Church was working on cleaning all of the Red Kryptonite from where she had used and kept it. She didn't need to have that stuff, mixed with pheromones, around when it would be affecting her. From what Tempus had told her, she likely wouldn't need it. Still, she locked it up in one of her secret security boxes for safe keeping.

While her plans (wedding, superpowers or other) were being prepared for the time when she would have it all!
