Chapter 7
by Mister2814
Who finds it?
Freddie
“Whoa, this looks like something we could use on iCarly.” Freddie picks the lamp and admire it. “Man, this prop looks real.” He takes the realistic looking genie lamp to the cashier. The person takes it, confused at the object. “Huh,” they say, “I’ve never seen before. You sure this is from our shelves?” That makes Freddie confused. “Yeah? Why?”
The cashier shrugs. “Must have just come in. It doesn’t have a price on it. How about, $10?” they say. Freddie accepts the price, pay them, and take it with him. Once outside the thrift store, he makes his way to his apartment. “Man, I really need to save up for a car,” he thinks to himself. “It wouldn’t even have to be a new car either. As long as it runs.”
After 15 minutes, he finally makes it to the apartment building. He tries to avoid eye contact with Lewbert as he heads to the stairs. Once he finally get to his apartment, he unlocks the door and shouts, “Mom, I’m home.” After no response, he looks around the apartment and sees that he’s all by himself. “Huh, I wonder where she is.”
He puts the lamp on the kitchen table and checks the fridge, hoping that his mom left him something. He groans as he spots the mung bean casserole. “Well, now what?” he heads back to the table, and notices a tiny smudge of the lamp. “How did that get there?” He licks his finger and starts rubbing the smudge off the lamp. Soon after, a puff of smoke starts coming out of the lamp. “What the hell?” he coughs as the smoke hits me in the face. He starts waving the smoke away, fearing his overreacting mother would think his started taking up smoking. He hears a feminine voice say, “I was wondering when someone was going to find me.”
As the smoke clears, his eyes cannot believe what they are seeing. Standing right of him is a woman. A beautiful woman. A beautiful busty woman. A beautiful busty woman wearing, what he can only describe as, a sexy genie costume. He’s at a loss for words. “Um, can I … can I help you?”
“You’ve already helped me, master, by getting me out of that lamp. Now, the real question is, can I help you?” the beautiful woman responds. He’s still trying to wrap his head around what’s going on, when he finally realized what she called him. “I’m sorry, did you say master?” he asks. She smiles and nods, “Yes, I did.” She crosses her arms, inadvertently bringing his attention to her chest. He can’t help it. His 18 year old hormones are going crazy right now. “This can’t be real,” he says, eyes still solely focused on the mysterious woman breasts. Either the woman doesn’t realize what he’s doing or she doesn’t care, because she just goes on to say, “Oh, this is very real. I am the genie of the lamp. You have rubbed my lamp, therefore you are my master. And I am happy to serve you master.”
He pinches himself as hard as he can. When she doesn’t disappear after he did that, he says, “I need to sit down.” He’s slump down on the kitchen chair. “Is there something wrong, master?” she asks him. He waves her off. “No, no. There’s nothing wrong. I’m just trying to wrap my head around this.” He tries to compose himself. “So, you’re a genie, right? Like an actual genie? Like the whole ‘I’ll give you three wishes’ kind of genie, right?”
“No,” she answers. This response confuses him. She came out of a lamp after he rubbed it, she calls him master, & she’s dressed like a genie. “I don’t just grant three wishes. I’m yours for the rest of your life.” This idea excites him. “Really? The rest of my life? So, I will have a genie, by my side, for the rest of my life, granting every wish I have?” he asks, hoping that this is the case. “That is correct, master.”
He fist-pumps the air in excitement. Not once in his life did he think anything like this could happen to him, and yet here we are. His stomach starts to rumble. “OK, first things first, what’s your name?” he asks. She replies, “My name is Samira, master.” Every time she calls him master, he likes it more and more. “OK, Samira, I wish for a pizza.”
“Right away,” Samira says. She snaps her fingers and a pepperoni pizza magically appears on the table. “Awesome!” Just as he’s about to dig in, his my mom arrives and says, “Freddie, I’m back from the pharmacy. I got you more tick shampoo -.” She stops mid-sentence as she takes in what she is seeing. A near-naked woman standing in her apartment in front of her son, who is about to scarf down on a slice of pizza when there’s a perfectly good mungbean casserole in the fridge. “Freddie, what’s going on?”
He panics and say, “Ummmm.” As he tries to think of an excuse, he looks at Samira and says, “I wish my mom would believe everything I say.” She snaps her fingers and says, “Done.” He quickly says, “Mom, you misheard what I just said.” His mom briefly stops as her mind jumbles up the last 5 seconds in her memory. She starts angrily approaching him and Samira again. “Answer me, Fredward Benson. What’s going on?”
“Mom, this is Samira. She is the foreign exchange student we agreed to host during my senior year of high school,” He says. Some of the anger disappears from his mom’s eyes. “Oh right, hello Samira. Now, can you tell me why you are dressed this way?” Before Samira could answer honestly, Freddie says, “That is what women in Samira’s culture normally wear when they are at home. And I don’t know why you are upset about this mom. You knew about this & you seemed to approve.”
All the anger disappears from her now. “Oh right. How could I forget? I wouldn’t want to insult your culture, Samira. I think this is just going to take some getting used to.” Remembering the pizza in my hand, he quickly says, “And you told me to get myself a pizza since you said were going to eat the casserole all by yourself.” His mom heads to the fridge and pulls out the casserole. “That’s right. Silly me for forgetting.” He can’t believe this is working.
Him and his mom sit down to eat their respective food. After the third slice, he couldn’t eat anymore. He puts the rest away in the fridge and start heading to his room. “Oh, and mom remember, Samira’s culture states that she must stay in the same room as the man of the house. And seeing as I’m the only man in our home, that means she’s going to sleep in my room. After all, we don’t want to insult her culture, do we?”
His mom places her plate in the sink. “Of course not. While I’m not the biggest fan of you having a girl in your room, I wouldn’t want to insult our guest.” Freddie grabs Samira’s hand and takes her to his room. He closes the door and celebrates the wish working. “Why are you dancing, master?” Samira asks. He replies, “Because, now my mom will believe everything I say. I have the ultimate get out of jail free card with her now.” He stops momentarily. “I have a couple questions for you, so if you don’t mind, I wish my room was sound proof.”
“One sound proof room coming right up, master,” Samira states. With a snap of her finger, his mom now becomes unable to hear their conversation. Which is good since he has so many things to ask her. That is, if he doesn’t get too distracted by the genie’s beauty.
Does Freddie get distracted?
