Attack!

One main trait you had was loyalty and knew to care for your friends, since you did not have many. You might fail, and probably would, but at least you would have tried!

While the guys were focused on the ladies you ran up behind them and swung the pick at the head of the **** closest to you, running the sharp part right into his brain, killing him instantly and making him vanish into a loot bag.

Level up, but you ignored it.

Carrying on the swing you smashed the other guy who was not pinning the mother and daughter down in the head as well, killing him.

The other two saw you and started to react, but were too tangled up with their would be victims, and you brought the blunt side of the pick down onto the head of one of them hard enough to kill him.

The last one managed to get away from the daughter, but was an archer with his bow and quiver away from him.

He drew a dagger and tried to attack out of desperation, but you were prepared for that and charged forwards, smiling like a madman, exposing your fangs to unsettle him.

It worked as he swung a second too late and only stabbed you in the shoulder as your pick tore into his throat, killing him.
