Grab Siora's hand and run!

Siora barely finishes giving her ideas when you grab her hand tightly. "I'm not gonna just sit here and let them find us," you announce to her as you stand up and pull her along with you.

She quickly gets the idea, pointing to a gap between some trees off to the side and leading you in that direction. You don't look back at all as you hurry into the cover of the woods. The shouting that erupts when you slink away tells you enough about the urgency of your escape. The two of you zigzag through the brush, trying to make your pursuers' job more difficult, but you can still hear their yelling close behind you. Siora leads the way, but you can tell her direction is less measured and more ****. You have to stop several times to look for an opening to keep going, each time hurriedly continuing on as the voices behind you get ever closer.

"We can't keep this up forever," you breathlessly tell her as you step around a large tree.

"I know," she curtly replies without turning back to you at all. "We need to find a place where we can hide until they get tired of looking for us." At this point you find yourselves climbing up a small bump in the terrain. If the overgrown brush were cleared, this might be a cute little rolling hill.

That's all unimportant now, though. You need to hide! Siora is frozen, her eyes darting all around looking for where you should go next. You notice, off to your left, a tree with overgrown roots sticking out of the ground. There is no brush directly behind these roots, which makes you suspect the ground dips behind it. Seeing the opportunity to sequester in a hiding spot, you pull Siora in that direction, leap over the roots, and land just in front of a small alcove with the roots hanging over.

The two of you immediately huddle together in the small shelter, keeping as quiet as you can as you hear the angry voices still searching for you.
