It's Jinx?!

"J-Jinx!?" You stammer in a state of disbelief. "How did you..."

"Shhh!" She stops you mid sentence. "I'm entitled to a few secrets."

"Well it doesn't matter. I already beat you once, I'll do it again" You try your best at sounding intimidating despite standing there in your pajamas.

She just laughs at back at you. "You're not very good at this hero stuff are you?"

"Not this again. We already were over this before. You know, right before I locked you up."

"And a fine job you did with that one." Jinx mocks "I mean think about it. You spend your time teasing me rather than getting help. Instead of turning me over when you have the chance you pretend like you're switching sides just to lock me up. And then you do what? Leave me there and go to sleep. Without informing any one of your teammates. You didnt even ask me what I was doing or if I was alone."

"Well I-" you start to protest but she continues.

"You were practically begging for something to go wrong. So either you're just a lousey hero or your heart just isnt in it."

You trying to think of something to say in response. But you're honestly at a loss. Her words really hurt you. Sure you were tired after today, but you really should have let someone know about Jinx's intrusion earlier.

"Awww don't look so down. Not all of us can be as wonderful as me." She giggles as she as poses like some kind of model.

"Quick Question," You interrupt her ego trip as you regain some of your composure. "Ignoring for now HOW you got free. What are you still doing here? I mean other than coming to my room to gloat about it and making me feel like shit."

"What? You're not used to gorgeous witches visiting you at all hours of the night?"

"Seriously, why didn't you just run... or cause your mayhem, or whatever it is you came here to do."

"Honestly? I like you... I mean... I think you're interesting. And I think you'd be better off ditching the rest of these losers and coming with me."

"And if I refuse" you question.

"Well then we fight again, except this time I win. And then I run off to do all my mayhem without you." she sticks out her tongue at you.

"What makes you think you'll win?"

"Again, a girl has to have some secrets... But come on.. It will be far more fun coming along for the ride. So what do you say?"
