After a long day at the office, Jack drove home in his BMW S3. He was thinking about everything his wife had said. That's actually all he could think about all day, but he managed to preoccupy himself with work. Some of Paula's words actually started making sense. It was true that he felt the same thing she did, both of them were losing touch with each other.

But was this really the way to bring them back together? How is fucking other people supposed to do that?

"It still doesn't make sense." He thought. But what was he supposed to do?

What if he rejected Paula and, after a while, she did it anyway - without his permission. Would that not be even worse?
What if she started to resent him for being so stubborn and refusing her? What if it drove her further away from him?

From his point of view, refusing her offer would only turn her against him.

"Maybe she realizes that it's not what she wants at the last minute. Maybe she won't like it and she'll decide against it?" He was trying to comfort himself. "Then she'll feel stupid for making me go through all that."

Although, the thought of being able to fuck another woman did excite him. However, he could only do so with Paula around. "How the hell was that supposed to work? "Would she join us? Or... Would it be a couple's thing, like swinging?" He thought to himself as he was pulling up on the driveway. Paula's Honda Civic was already parked. It seemed that she got home early.

Paula was sitting at the dining table, smoking. "What are you doing??" Jack asked, shocked. "Since when do you smoke."

"Since today." Paula blew smoke to the side and took another puff. "So, what did you decide? Shall we bring some changes into our love life or keep doing what we've been doing and see how long it takes us before we fall apart?"

Jack extended his hand towards her, she got the message and took the cigarette out of her mouth, handing it to him. Jack took a long puff, blew the smoke out, coughed and said: "Fine, have it your way." He handed her the cigarette back. "But I won't have these in my house."

"Thank you." Paula said and put out the cigarette.

"Well, what do we do now, my dear? How do we do this?" Jack asked. "Do you really want to get fucked by a stranger?"
