A Citizen in a Villain-Controlled City

Jacob was a banker for Gotham City, which was a good job when the Justice League was still defending the city.

But ever since Illusionist, a villain with mind control abilities, made his way through the Justice League hypnotizing each member to be his bodyguards, the city had fallen into depravity, as had Metropolis.

The heroes who once patrolled the streets now enforced the rules of their new Master Illusionist with an iron fist, and many people, Jacob included, had lost faith.

Of course, Illusionist wasn't a big threat until he topk over the Justice League. They had dealt with much deadlier villains like Darkseid, so when a skinny man with a goofy wizard hat comes over and threatens the city, the League was understandably confident. Of course, that changed in an instant. And the League had gotten so many mew members. Sexy ones, too. Supergirl, Batgirl, even Catwoman. But now all of them were under the control of Illusionist.

As Jacob lamented the fall of the heroes, he saw a blue stone. Upon picking it up, he realized it was a Wishing Stone. Maybe he could use this somehow...
