Even more afterthoughts

Throughout the rest of the day Jake could not believe his luck. Only yesterday, when Linda had called him to her office, he was afraid of being fired or worse. Then everything did a U-turn and has been going perfectly the whole time. Every gamble had paid off and the sex was divine. He had to pinch himself to check whether it was all for real.
