The Puzzle Box

The Puzzle Box is a small cube made of wood. It has six sides, each with one puzzle on it.

Its usage proceeds as follows. The user picks up the box and thinks about the goal they wish to achieve (i.e., altering others' perceptions, or fundamentally altering reality, or giving the user superpowers) and the box will spin to the side that corresponds with the category of desire. The user then solves the puzzle to receive the item inside.

Due to the nature of the box, however, the item within is not a sure thing. There seems to be an association between the grade or usefulness of the item depending on the amount of time taken to complete the puzzle.

Once started, a puzzle cannot be stopped until it is finished. It is advised to only tart a puzzle if you can finish it soon, as the consequences could be dire, and possibly even reality-warping.
