Sue and Amphibius in hiding!

Sue paced the abandoned warehouse outside of New York City. What had she done? Had she truly betrayed her team? Her mind was going in every direction for an expanation.

She felt the cold clammy hand of amphibious on her shoulder. "Do not worry so, my mate!" He croaked. "Attend to the youngling tadpoles!"

With anger Sue turned to him, "DON'T CALL ME THAT!" She sighed and looked at the small pool. "What am I supposed to do with them!"

Amphious croaked a laugh, "The same as all mothers do!"

Sue shook her head, "I just couldn't let Reed experiment with them, or worse..." She trailed off as she looked at the younglings. They were so peculiar, yet so beautiful to her. "We need a plan!"

Amphious lepped to his hind feet. "We need to return to the Savage Land!"

Sue took a deep breath, "I....I can't...my life is here!"

Amphibious whispered in her ear, "Your life is with my offspring. You must take care of them. The only proper place is the Savage Land."

Sue chuffed, and turned to the mutate. "We need help getting back!"
