The apartment looks like shit

You arrive in the parking lot and look around, across the street there’s a gas station with a group of guys standing out front. They guys have been eyeing you since you’ve arrived, and just when you thought they couldn’t freak you out anymore, they start slowly making their ways towards you.

You waste no time and go for the book, thank god you brought it, and quickly write:

“Nothing bad is going to happen to me while I’m here.”

You look up and the guys stop moving towards you, they just kind of look confused, and they make their way back to the gas station parking lot.

You get out finally and go to the apartment Ella told you about, when you knock at the door, a tall girl with pretty blue eyes answers.

“Hey! You must be Zach! I’m Jillian it’s so nice to meet you please come in.”

You walk into the apartment, and you instantly can tell Ella wasn’t lying when she said they were robbed and barely had anything left. No TV, no sofa in the living room, and no appliances in the kitchen other than a small fridge.

You ask Jillian about the other girls who live here, and she explains that she lives here with her girlfriend Lacy while her little sister also has a room here. You ask where the others are, and she tells you that Lacys at work while her sister Anya went over her boyfriends apartment for a bit.

You’re about to ask Jillian if you could see a picture of her girlfriend and her sister, but just before you do, someone else walks into the apartment.

Pretty blue eyes…beautiful long flowing autumn red hair… A girl that could only be Ella’s sister walks up to you and introduces herself as Lacy, and you happily shake her hand and introduce yourself back.

“I just want you to know how grateful I am that you’re helping us” She says, “If you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to ask.”

Jillian chimes in to tell you that she’s grateful too and that she is also in your debt, in case you ever need anything.

They don’t know just how much you intend to take them up on that offer.
