Lex's investigation/Lexi's chosen at work

Sazla blinked before nuzzling her cheek gently against Lex's chest. "Does that mean I will have more alone time with you?" She asked while biting her bottom lip. He chuckled, slowing down as they made their approach toward their children and Sofia. "That's a very good possibility, Sazla." Sofia, Ziksa, Fauve, Torral, and Dempsey turned to greet them. They looked slightly exhausted, but there weren't any obvious injuries. Lex let Sazla down, but she used that moment to kiss his neck gently. Sofia walked over and hugged Lex tightly. "We missed you. How did everything go?"

Lex lifted a hand to caress the back of Sazla's neck. "I'm glad to see everyone is okay." He said while looking around carefully. He still couldn't shake that sense of danger. "Sazla and Gloria did a wonderful job holding the coast while we were busy over here." Sazla softly hummed in pleasure, enjoying his touch. "A powerful Sharkin gave them a lot of trouble, but he's our ally now. Oh, and a group of white seals have joined our cause too." Torral's and Dempsey's eyes widened. "You saw a Sharkin!?" Simultaneously, Fauve and Ziksa both said. "I would like to see the seals." They glanced at one another before starting to giggle.

Shortly after, Sofia, Ziksa, and Fauve looked confused, but only Sofia spoke. "What's a Sharkin?" Lex's mouth opened for a second before he paused. 'No, she doesn't want a full explanation. I'll give her the gist of it.' His fingers ran up to the back of Sazla's left ear, caressing it gently. "It's basically a shark person. He's rather tall, has two dicks, and isn't wearing clothing." Sofia, Fauve, and Dempsey blushed. Torral thought about that a moment. "Why did you mention his dicks?" Lex sighed softly. "It's so you won't be surprised if you ever meet him. His crotch is about eye level, so it's hard to avoid it since he doesn't wear clothing." She nodded slightly. "Ah, got it."

Sazla turned toward Lex and hugged him gently. "Mmm, do you think I can convince you to give me more children?" He blushed while kissing the top of her head. "We'll talk about it after the fighting is over." Sofia's cheeks turned bright red. "C-children?" Sazla turned to look at Sofia. "Mm, yeah, children. ♥" There was a short pause before she continued to speak. "Wait, you're blushing! Are you jealous?" Sofia's whole face turned red. "I-I don't know what you're talking about." Sazla and her children didn't look convinced. Lex on the other hand, turned to look toward the forest. "Hmm, it won't be long now..."

Simultaneously from Lexi's perspective

Trelzox's body trembled, but that was before he let out an exasperated breath. He stood up straight while taking a step back. "Oh, I see." He took another step back. "That last move was all you had. Summoning these creatures won't protect you forever." He winced as his right wing quivered while stretching outward, a loud snap then a crunch was heard as it relocated itself back into place. Doing this cost him 15 health. "I'll be back with friends!" He said as his wing spread out, flapping downward. This released a gust of wind outward as he went soaring into the air.

Lexi shook her head. "Oh how little you understand, Trelzox." She glanced to Zrulner and Lavendoris. "Zrulner. Lavendoris. If you'd be so kind" Zrulner did something rather unexpected as he turned around before performing a backflip. "Already on it." Lavendoris moved a bit closer, casting Petal Barrage which applied a DoT upon contact. 45 x 3 = 135 Nature damage, 45 x 5 = 225 Nature's Toxin damage (every second for 5 seconds), 225 x 5 = 1,125 Nature damage She watched carefully as Zrulner's right foot flexed outward, slamming into Trelzox's head from behind, sending him hurdling back toward the ground with a painfully loud thud and crack. 75 + 50% = 113 (112.5), 113 x 2 = 226 weak point damage, 226 - 50% (enemy's physical reflective scales) = 113, 113 - 25% (MEB) = 85 (84.75), 85 damage taken by Zrulner To her surprise, Trelzox wasn't moving at all. 'Was he knocked out by their attacks or because of the fall?'

Nyxie let out a calm breath before whispering. "Regenerate." Casting regenerate on Zrulner, causing his body to be enveloped by a soft green glow. His health began to replenish every second by 100, for five seconds. Lexi smiled. "Nicely done." She looked to Lavendoris. "Lavendoris, since you're the only caster here. I want you to continue attacking until he is dead. Show no mercy." That was when Trelzox got up and tried to fly off again. Her eyes focused on Trelzox as she cast Bind, sending him back to the ground once more after it tangled him up. - 25 Mp Trelzox turned as best he could to look at Lexi. "Please! Have mercy! I'll do anything you want. I promise." Lavendoris shambled closer to Trelzox. Soon starting its attack once more. Casting Petal Barrage which applied another DoT on him. 135 Nature damage, 1,125 Nature damage "Nyxie. Mooncloud. I want you both to do what you can to revive this area."

Lexi shook her head. "Oh Trelzox, I can't do that." Trelzox screamed out in pain before yelling out. "W-why!?" She softly smiled. "You see, that treant you insulted earlier asked for divine punishment. I can't allow that prayer to go unanswered." Right as Lexi finished that sentence, Gloria came running out into the forest's clearing. Lexi was happy to see Gloria, but it was clear that her attention wasn't on Lexi. Gloria charged right at Trelzox, rapidly attacking him where he laid. Along with Lavendoris' efforts, Trelzox died within seconds. 250 xp, Trelzox's Tear However, right as this happened a loud roar was heard coming from Lex's direction.

Although this item was nice, Lexi's attention was focused on what Lex was seeing as her eyes widened. "No way..."

Lex heard a loud roar, followed by an explosion from the volcano. A large cloud of black smoke could be seen and two large red eyes pierced through the smoke. "No way..."
