Grenmila leans back against the kitchen counter's lower cupboard--not even tall enough to reach the top. Her arms wrap around one of the bottles she previously mixed. "I dare say I'm growing too old," she admits. "I couldn't even venture outward to gather that flower for Hartmut. Bless you, adventurers. While the brave and mighty Zido remains here in case the people need protection, you shall head to the dungeon entrance. It isn't far. The hunters found a mysterious hatch almost completely concealed by overgrowth not even an hour southwest of here, but they dared not enter."

"Indeed," Ramon adds. "If you wish, you could still head out today, and you'd hopefully make it back before dinner time."

"Well. What do you guys say?" you ask as your eyes turn to your party.

Amara gasps. "Ah~!" Quickly, she covers her mouth, whimpers, and begins to breath quickly. She takes a deep breath and tries to calm down, though her rosy cheeks are a telling sign that it isn't an easy task. "Y-Yes. We should accept." Though she shifts nervously in her seat--hips squirming as the drink stimulates her further.

"Aw. I wanted to wear my new outfit more," Eva says.

Niki tugs on her collar. "I'll never say no to a reason to throw my armour on."

"We don't have to leave immediately, Eva. And you can always wear it another time," you reply.

Ramon slowly pulls himself up. Once again, his footfalls are accompanied by the slow tap of his cane against the floorboards while he moves towards the door. "It would be much appreciated, and would do wonders for the relationship between our settlements. I'm afraid I must go rest for now, however."

"No problem. We'll head out too," you say as you stand. "Thanks for the drinks. We'll take a breather around the village before we take out this dungeon for you."

Niki holds onto Amara's arm and helps her stand. "Damn straight. You might as well consider it cleared already."

Zido laughs. "Such confidence! Well, I suppose we'll see if you can back that up."

You follow Ramon through the doorway, turning back once more to the captain and the gnome. Your party catches up, and with a deep breath, you take back in the refreshing village air as you follow along the path leading back to the heart of town. It may be lively, but it's a stark contrast to the cities you've visited so far. It isn't quite like Silverleaf either. These are mostly humans, sprinkled with cats, rabbits, and gnomes, just living their simple lives away from the hustle and bustle of the chaotic outer world.

The door slowly shuts far behind you. It's now just you and the lord once again, but he's about ready for a nap.

That being said, he's inspecting your party closely. You can feel his judgemental stare. First he locks his vision onto Amara, who appears to still be squirming and short of breath. Her face is flushed, and she fidgets around with the open cut of her dress, as if she's suddenly more self-conscious about showing off her leg now that her lower region is burning. She may be a beautiful, divine, elven cleric upon first glance, though her demeanour doesn't exactly exude confidence.

He looks to Niki next. For some reason, she shivers as she takes a step, and then fiddles around with the top of her suit. When she notices she's being looked at, she brushes her hair away from her eyes and tries to stand proper. She's certainly bold with her words, and such honestly could either garner respect, or it could be considered disrespectful. At least she isn't wearing something skimpy. It's actually one of the most concealing outfits you've seen in this world, though that matters little. She's still hot, and the clothes are cut to fit her curves.

Of course, Eva has been acting strange since they first met. She keeps playing around with the hem of her dress' skirt, but thankfully he hasn't seemed to catch on with how horny she's actually been acting. There's nothing under that outfit--no panties, and almost certainly no bra since she never wears one anyway. And the more he inspects her, the more flustered she gets, perhaps because she thinks he's onto her secret.

Ramon sighs.

"Demon King. It's hard for me to imagine you and your people mean us any harm. I don't much feel threatened at all to be honest," he explains.

I don't know how I feel about that, actually. I know we didn't want them to fear us, but maybe a tiny bit of intimidation would have been okay. Now I just feel like we look inept.

He continues. "... However, we will see how capable and trustworthy you are after you return. If you return."

"They will!" Peony shouts from behind him.

He grabs his cane tight and topples over. Though before he hits the ground, Niki swoops in with impressive speed and catches him, nestling his head safely against her emergency airbags.

"Oh! You all right, old man?" she asks.

His words are muffled at first by her chest engulfing his face, but he turns his nose up and takes a deep inhale. "Mhm!" After clearing his throat, he pulls himself back up with a hint of colour across his face. "Y-Yes. I'm fine. Please don't scare me like that though, Ms. Dryad."

Peony giggles nervously. "Sorry, sir."

"Right then. I'll leave you all to your business. Please don't cause any trouble, and if there's an emergency, come see me. I'll have my guards fetch your belongings as soon as they're able."

"Goodbye!"

You watch him slowly depart. It's back to you and your party now.
