Lady in a red dress

The door opened and with it, my jaw dropped. Mai stepped out, her face bright red and rubbing her arm nervously. "Holy shit..." I whispered. Mai looked...stunning. Absolutely stunning.

Perhaps it wasn't nervousness that made Mai rub her arms. She had no sleeves, leaving her pale arms bare. Her skin made her look like a China doll in many ways. The red dress somewhat added to it.

Yes, Mai was wearing a dress. It was both elegant and sexy at the same time. There was a slightly plunging neckline, showing just enough cleavage. Enough for what? ...I'm not sure. The dress was fairly long, but still showed a hint of leg. Less is more, or so they say...even though I knew very well what those legs looked like, I was intrigued by the ever so slight show.

"I...I wanted to buy something...special," Mai explained softly. Her eyes darted to the floor. "Something I wouldn't wear too often, but...you know, for those special occasions and..." Wow, she was rambling. I didn't think Mai rambled.

Holding up my hands, I shook my head. "It's okay, Mai, I get it...just...if you don't like any of the others, at least promise me you'll get this. You look...amazing," I told her, being quite honest. Her smile seemed larger then the others she'd shown me...but that wasn't much of a stretch.

"This will be a keeper," she promised. "I...have a few other ones that might be a bit...um...different...if you'd like to see them..." I wondered what she had in mind. Personally, I think Mai would make a great goth...but I wasn't sure if I could get her to wear such a thing. I wasn't going to ask.

That said...I had to know what else she had selected that would make her so bashful.
