Akira Minamoto is a trainee ninja at the Konohagakure ninja academy. His dad Hidehisa Minamoto is the head of the Minamoto clan. The Minamoto clan is a very rich and very influential clan.

Shortly after his 18th birthday Akira learns his dad is getting married for the 4th time (polygamy is allowed for the heads of powerful clans) and his new stepmom is a girl from his class at the ninja academy!

Ino Yamanaka is a girl from the Yamanaka clan. The Yamanaka clan is another ancient and influential clan. Akira's dad plans to unite the powers of the two clans by marrying Ino and making babies with her.
