Lucy heads off

Lucy heads off, walking towards her friends, as you turn to the boys. You grab a plastic cup, filling it quickly with punch, before putting it to your lips. You consider taking a sip, before raising an eyebrow at your friends.

"You... you just spiked this with alcohol, right? It's not, like, bath salts, or poison, right?"

Lukas nods, and you take a sip, before spluttering as the toxic liquid hits your throat with a serious burn.

"Jesus Christ," you complain. "That shit is fucking toxic."

"Oh, grow a pair!" Ben laughs, taking a long swig. "This'll put hair on your chest!"

"Why would I even want a hairier chest?" you complain, before taking a larger sip.

Thankfully, the second time you take a drink, you're ready, and you're able to keep a mouthful down.

"Fuck it, this is toxic. Is there anything better to drink then this?"

"Actually, I was just about to go down a few beers outside, if you want to come," Ben says.

"Fuck that!" Lukas complains. "We have much better options. I've an ol' bag of Lukie's Special Wonder Powder on the sly, if you want to join me in the bathrooms and have a nice sniff."

"Oh, that stuff's bad for you! Erodes the brain, makes your mind go properly loopy in the long-term." Ben says. "I'll stick to my beer outside, thanks, I'm on a health binge. My body's a temple."

Lukas pauses for a moment at this, raising an eyebrow.

"Benjamin, you eat shit tons of red meat, you guzzle far more alcohol than is recommended for you and I can only imagine your liver is fully rotten, and you're about to go smoke a half dozen cigarettes and blacken your lungs. How is this stuff any worse?"

"Nah, alcohol's natural, it's good for the brain and that. And tobacco, that's a herb, man, it's no worse than Oregano! The Native Americans smoked it!"

You consider joining the argument, but the wave of disorientation of your latest bout of drinking hits you, and you decide you simply don't care.

"Guys, guys, does this matter? At all?" Daniel asks.

"Nah," Ben shrugs. "I'm going to go drink. You coming, Jack?"
