Chapter 11 by CaptainPulse CaptainPulse

What does she choose?

Harmonize

As Agnes finished off her rendition of Coldplay's Viva la Vida with a butt solo on June's right cheek, she looked up to see the street was once again empty. "What's wrong with people? I've stolen this girl's power and I've got her naked on display for everyone. How is that not gathering a crowd?"

"I know, right?" June replied, equally befuddled. "I mean, look at my body. Why aren't people sticking around to take a gander at this?" She pointed to her reddened butt cheeks, which despite herself were starting to feel sore. "Am I not cute enough or something?"

Agnes just looked back at her nude victim, concerned. This girl was weirdly having fun with this, and it was making things less fun for Agnes. As much as she wanted to just call this a wash and go home, she couldn't do that. The proposal had been to earn twenty dollars, and if she backed out before then, she'd look like a quitter.

Agnes sighed, picking up the three quarters in her baseball cap. She started to sing her next song, playing a beat on June's butt cheeks.

"Don't go breaking my heart," Agnes said, disheartened.

"I couldn't if I tried."

Agnes stopped, looking around to find the source of the accompanying voice. Tentatively, she started singing again, "Oh, honey if I get restless."

"Baby, you're not that type." A rustling came from the bush where the other naked blonde, the one with the glasses, was hiding. Agnes smiled, realizing what she was doing, and played a raucous drum solo on June's bottom.

The two girls continued their duet. Neither was a particularly good singer on her own, but together their voices blended and mixed into a passable performance. At least, the passersby seemed to think so, because a lot more people were starting to stick around to listen.

Mimi and Agnes both gave themselves to their performance, singing with a passion that some may have called tone-deaf, but they would go on to call a triumph. Even June found herself joining in, and her trained pipes improved the performance significantly.

By the time they had urged to crowd to not go breaking their hearts for the last time, the sizeable crowd was applauding, though whether it was because of their singing or June's... contributions, was unclear. The important part was that these people were very generous, and Agnes watched as they tossed more than 20 dollars into her hat before walking away.

Agnes scooped up the money and placed her hat back on her head. "Well, Jane,"

"It's June."

"That's what I said. Anyway, looks like this is where we part ways."

In a remarkable display of feigned embarrassment, June cupped her face in her hands and said, "Oh, dear. Not the children's choir. Anything but that. Think of the children, won't you?"

"Oh, I think they'll get a kick out of you." With that, Agnes threw June over her shoulder, walked across the street to the church, and sidled up to the side door. "Hey, kids," she yelled, "Christmas came early for you guys this year. Have fun!" She threw the door open and plopped June right in on the floor before closing the door on her and wiping her hands clean.

Well, that's done. Now for my duet partner.

What's next?
