Sun's Magic Act

(Originally by Apollo)

I have to strip Rose, Sun thinks. They might be a little small on me, but getting her clothes gets me out of here with my dignity. But how? As the only sober mind of the trio, all the responsibility fell on her from the beginning, and the fact that Alex and Claire lost their focus and started discussing other times they stripped themselves only solidifies the idea.

The big problem Sun couldn't overcome was how to get to Rose in the first place. Being the one who got Sun in this situation, Rose is certain to avoid the area near the door so she can later make excuses justifying why she left Sun in her birthday suit. Someone in the buff can hardly cross a room without being seen, and Rose is bound to be eyeing the door to capture the moment Sun walks out so she can call attention to the naked girl. Nothing short of a miracle formula that turns people invisible is getting Sun out the door, let alone close to Rose, without being seen.

All of a sudden, it clicked in Sun's mind. If she wanted to get out the door, she couldn't be seen. However, being invisible wasn't the only way to not be seen. Sun needed to become a magician. A stage magician's secrets are always where the audience can see them, but the magician and the assistants direct the audience elsewhere so they're not seen. Just like a magician, Sun needed to get Rose's attention off the door and make sure nobody's attention is drawn to the door or herself. She needed a distraction to misdirect the audience and Rose, a distraction so useful she could get Rose's clothes off like a seasoned pickpocket. And the perfect distraction just happened to be right next to her.

"All right, ladies," Sun says boldly, addressing Alex and Claire. The faux boldness was originally more for show, but it went straight to Sun's head, completely blocking out the fact that she's without a stitch of covering at a bustling party. Sun's hands even found their way to her hips, leaving her totally exposed to the two drunk girls and anyone else who would have the fortune of opening the door, but Sun didn't care at that point.

The conversation ground to a halt with Sun's words. Alex and Claire quickly focused back on Sun and her situation.

"Why are you nekkid?" they asked simultaneously, causing Sun to sigh heavily at their slurred speech.

Regaining herself, Sun restarted the act. "Remember, we're streaking the party?"

"We are?" Claire asked.

"Izat why we're nekkid?" Alex added.

"Yes. Now wait for my signal, and remember not to go outside."

Very carefully, Sun poked her head out the door, hiding her form while trying to find Rose and where she could pounce on the clothed trouble maker. Telling her drunken partners they're streaking was the simplest way to prepare her distraction, and now she just needed it to work. As long as she timed her release just right, everybody would be too busy following Alex and Claire to see her sneak out and get to Rose.

"I hope I can get Rose's clothes off quickly," Sun mumbles to herself, seeing her transform from waitress to sitting duck. She turns back to Alex and Claire, "Okay. Go. Go!"

Running right past her, Alex led the charge throwing her arms over her head, and let out an ear-shattering, "WOOHOO!" Claire was quick to follow out, though with much less enthusiasm as her outgoing housemate. From behind the door, Sun could see the entire party stop to follow the streakers across the floor, as well as the fact that Kate's camera emerged from her purse with a sonic boom. With all eyes glued to Alex and Claire, the crouching Sun slips out of the room and makes her way to Rose.

This is going perfectly, Sun thought, a grin spreading across her face. Now for the tricky part.

Holding her breath, Sun slowly extended a trembling hand to the waist of Rose's shorts.
