Run

Kara tiptoed through the bare sand up to her captor. Sure enough, Adalyn was sound asleep, snoring loudly with her left hand flopped over her face. Kara took a deep breath. She had a chance, but she had to make it quick. Biting her tongue, she took off into a sprint, her feet slamming across the grass. Her hair flowed magnificently behind her. Her breasts, still unrestrained by anything, bounced up and down with each stride. Finally reaching Adalyns car, Kara yanked the door open and leapt in.

Sliding her finger under the floormat, she found the spare car key, right where Adalyn had always left it. She told her several times not to leave it there, but she never listened. "I guess I'm glad she didn't," Kara thought. Starting up the car, she peeled out of the parking lot, and hit the road once more.

As she drove idly through the surprisingly quiet streets, Kara started looking around for any clothes that might've been lying around. She moved some paper fast-food bags from the backseat, but that wasn't something she was too keen on wearing. Nothing in the passenger side, either. She sent out a silent prayer as she popped open the glove box, and-

Kara gulped. Sitting alone in the glovebox was a revolver, with six bullets beside it. Her mind filled with static. "Was this meant for me? Was she gonna kill me?" Her breathing got heavier and faster, leading to her slamming the box shut. She calmed down, and pulled the car the side of the road, parking it. She opened the box once more and held the gun in her hands. Heavier than she expected. "Best bet is to get rid of it. Who knows what Adalyn's done." As she reached for the door handle, another thought stopped her in her tracks. "Or... Who knows what I'll do." She held the gun in her hand and admired it, feeling much more powerful than she had the past few days. Sinister fantasies formed in her head as she held the gun. She tried to dismiss them, but they wouldn't stop intruding her mind.
