Chapter 17 by LLation

What's next?

Idiosyncrasies

The Martian bioship sliced smoothly through the atmosphere of its adopted homeworld. Faster than almost any aircraft operated by humans and far more stealthy, the bioship had been essential in allowing the team to carry out missions undetected anywhere on Earth. Artemis’ teammates had always been amazed by the ship’s ability to contort its shape and turn invisible, but Artemis had been more impressed with just how quiet it was.

The people within the ship’s warm magenta interior were a different story. Conner; Superboy, a younger clone of Superman who dealt with rejection by his genetic donor by channeling his rage against their enemies. The tall, muscular boy had attracted her interest before she’d started dating Wally. He was chatting animatedly with his girlfriend M’gann, Miss Martian. Well, M’gann was chatting. Superboy was mostly listening. The green-skinned girl had her own issues with rejection stemming from her status as a white Martian. With such a guarded past, it surprised Artemis that M’gann was the most outwardly cheerful and naïve of the team.

Can’t trust her cooking, though. Conner must be so miserable.

Artemis smirked as she remembered the team’s horrified faces at the completely scorched and blackened turkey M’gann had pulled from the oven on Thanksgiving. They’d had to order takeout to salvage the holiday.

I could’ve cooked. Mom stopped when she was crippled and our family fell apart. Why don’t I do it more often? Guess the team just wasn’t the right group of people to cook for. It’s strange because I feel like I really want to cook for someone.

Robin and Aqualad were sat next to each other with Zatanna standing in front of them as they chatted about something Artemis couldn’t hear. The two boys had jockeyed for leadership of the team before Robin had given it up after a mistake that had nearly costed them all of their lives.

Kal’dur hasn’t been the best leader, though. I mean, he got us through everything the Light threw at us, but I can’t help but feel like there’s someone else who could lead us better. Someone smart and masculine who cares about me and I’d do anything for. Absolutely anything. Anything…

She blinked and shook her head.

Where the hell did that come from? How long was I just staring off into space like that?

The light in the bioship drew her eyes with its soothing glow.

It probably doesn’t matter.

She smiled and looked over the rest of the team.

Zatanna Zatara was the newest member of the team and the only true magic user. She and Artemis got along well enough, the girl sharing her own rebellious streak.

Kal’dur has his water swords, but they’re definitely not on the same level as Zatanna’s spells. She’s probably the most versatile member of the team, followed closely by M’gann.

Zatanna was gorgeous, sporting black hair, light skin, and deep cerulean blue eyes that Artemis found herself jealous of on more than one occasion. Coupled with the fact that the girl always dressed like a slut with short skirts that teased at her thick thighs and juicy bubble butt, and she’d been more popular with the male fans of the team than Artemis and M’gann.

Not that that really matters to me. I don’t give a shit about what most people think.

Zatanna wore an open black jacket that only barely concealed a thin white blouse with two buttons undone to expose her generous cleavage.

She winced as she felt something pound at her skull, like a guest demanding entry. The sensation faded almost as quickly as it arrived.

God, she’s such a slut. Um, not that being a slut is necessarily a bad thing. It’s really not. I mean, I go around with my midriff exposed so it’s not like I’m one to talk. Maybe I’m kind of a slut, too? No. I’m not… actually yeah. Hm. Slut. I’m a slut. I’m slutty. But all the guys are staring at Zatanna and not me. Who’s Wally staring at?

Artemis looked down at her boyfriend. She honestly couldn’t understand why she was dating him. He certainly wasn’t what she considered the ideal boyfriend. He was dressed in his yellow and red Flash costume. His emerald eyes glimmered greedily underneath his mask. As she walked up to him, she got the impression of approaching a snake. A sense of foreboding trickled down her spine. The snake’s eyes flicked upward, but instead of looking at her, he stared past her at Zatanna. He licked his lips hungrily as if tasting Zatanna’s scent.

A pit opened in her chest. She clenched her fists.

What a dickhead! It’s one thing to look at other girls, but right in front of me? Really, Wally? How obnoxious can you get?

She wanted to lash out at him. Thankfully, Robin seemed to sense what was going on and sent Wally a sharp glare.

Wally gulped and croaked out a barely audible “sorry” before staring at the floor.

Despite her anger, she couldn’t help but smile. The sight of Wally the snake being cowed so easily invigorated her like a stimulant injected into her veins. This was the way most men were. Women weren’t supposed to give guys like Wally the time of day, except to ridicule or beat them down.

Wally’s such a pussy. It’s not surprising that a glare from Robin would intimidate him so much. A real man wouldn’t let someone like Robin keep him away from a woman. I wish my boyfriend were a real fucking man.

She licked her lips, imagining what her ideal boyfriend would look like. Ideas filled her head like water in an empty cup. Her pussy tingled.

My ideal boyfriend would have dark hair. He’d be tall, with blue eyes. He’s definitely an asshole but I love that about him. I love everything about him. Huh. Like I’d ever be lucky enough me someone perfect like that.

Artemis shivered, suddenly feeling very alone. She imagined herself lying down in an empty room with the lights off. She felt cold.

"Someone's... supposed to be here. Why can't I remember him?"

Her pussy ached, and she had the sense of something filling her completely over and over again.

Artemis blinked and she was back in the bioship. Something between her legs felt moist. She looked down.

Crap. I'm completely drenched! How the hell did I... it doesn't matter. I came. Somehow.

Thankfully her teammates didn’t seem to notice how damp she’d gotten down there.

Not that it’d matter. I am a slut after all.

She liked her team, even if they treated her dismissively when she tried to challenge their black-and-white conceptualization of the world. And her boyfriend… she wasn’t sure she loved him but she did appreciate his company sometimes. She also enjoyed delivering beatdowns to criminals who hurt innocent people. Nothing satisfied her, though. It was so frustrating. She felt like a scientist experimenting about a concept whose validity she was sure of, but never reaching a definitive result.

What’d Einstein say about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? I need to find something else. Something different from anything I’ve ever had. Something more important than the team. More important than Wally or Mom or me.

The need burned so intensely at the back of her mind it was difficult to concentrate. She tried to picture the dark room again, but the moment she caught a glimpse of it, it slipped away.

Something important was bothering her, but for the life of her she couldn’t get a grip on what it was.

I’ll go insane at this rate. God, I wish I could just remember! I wish Wally’s stupid face would go away so I could just sit down and think! But I have to act normal. I have to pretend that I belong here.

“Hey, you okay Wally?” she experimented again. She wondered how he’d react if he knew how she really felt about him. Her pussy tingled pleasantly at the thought. She gasped.

Why does the idea of telling Wally I don’t really care about him turn me on so much?

Her boyfriend looked at her for the first time on the trip. His green eyes slid greedily across her form. She completely forgot about the dark room.

Ew. I hate it when Wally looks at me like that. I don’t find him attractive at all. I should just break it off, but I’m too much of a coward to risk being single again.

“Yeah, I’m good,” he smiled. “Say, why don’t you and I find someplace private after this mission’s over?”

In your dreams. You don’t fuck me nearly as well as… huh. I totally was about to bring someone up, but now I can’t remember who. I know I’ve had sex with someone besides Wally, but why can’t I remember him? I know I enjoyed it far, far more than with Wally. I wonder where the guy is. I should find him so I can show Wally how my ideal boyfriend would treat a woman.

She smiled thinly, even as she was reminded of how utterly she hated the relationship she’d wasted two years cultivating.

I… hate Wally? God, I know I don’t love him and I’m fairly certain I don’t really like him either, but hate seems a little much.

h̶a̶t̶e̶ We’ll just have to see. h̶a̶t̶e̶ We have to beat up some Light thugs first, remember? h̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶you There’s a chance neither of us will be up for anything once this is over i̶ ̶h̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶. It’ll definitely be fun to crack a few of their skulls, though. h̶a̶t̶e̶”

He sent her a disgusted look. The sight of it filled her head with thoughts that pounded away at her already negative opinion of Wally like a plumbing snake at debris stuck in a pipe, pushing it to the other side. It felt like a dam had broken inside her, and all the feelings she never knew existed came spilling forth into her skull.

I think I do hate him. I hate him. Huh. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.

“Damn. Why do you have to be so negative and vicious? I mean, I get why. It’s hard to separate yourself from people like your parents and your sister.”

Hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate

Rage roiled in her stomach like magma within an active volcano. She saw red, then black. The darkness soothed her, and for a moment she remembered she was supposed to be looking for someone important to her.

“What did you just say?”

Wally didn’t seem to catch her change in mood, or he just didn’t care. He smiled.

I hate you.

“Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. But you need to realize that there’s more to crime fighting than just beating people up. We’re here to help people, not take out our aggression on people, even if they’re criminals! That’s what villains do.”

Ugh, he’s so boring. Will he just shut up? I can’t fucking wait until I meet my ideal boyfriend. Then I can rub Wally’s stupid face in how amazing he is compared to him!

The din of conversation in the bioship quieted immediately. She felt eyes on her. She looked around. Everyone was staring at her, an accusatory look in their eyes. Robin seemed to glare at her through his domino mask. M’gann. Even sweet, naïve M’gann stared at her with those almond-brown eyes which were usually so accepting and friendly. Now, it felt like she was staring her as if she were a contagious bacterium underneath a microscope.

Artemis’ heart thudded heavily in her chest. Her stomach roiled and she felt herself grow nauseous.

This can’t be real. Why are they all treating me this way? I thought they already said who my father and sister were didn’t matter.

“I’m not my family, Wally. y̶o̶u̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶m̶e̶ We already covered this,” she said through gritted teeth. Some small part of her told her that there was no way her friends that she would have given her life for would ever treat her this way. Another voice quashed those thoughts down. She liked to listen to that voice. It made much more sense than the other one. It made her feel loved and accepted in a way her team never had. She needed to trust the voice.

They don’t care about me. They never have. They hate me. They only want me here because I know more about criminals than they do.

“Wally, be nice. Artemis has already proved she isn’t like her family. She’s one of us,” Kal’dur said. The dark-skinned man moved between them. His light blue eyes radiated kindness and authority.

I don’t… I don’t believe him.

She felt someone hug her from behind. A pair of soft breasts were pressed against her back. A feminine voice spoke.

M’gann. I bet she’d be jealous of my ideal boyfriend. She’d probably want to rap those big green tits around his cock. To kneel down in front of him and worship him like he deserves.

“Don’t listen to Wally. You’re my teammate. You’ve saved my life on countless occasions. I’m proud to call you my friend,” M’gann spoke. Her green-skinned arms squeezed her torso.

She’s lying. They’re all lying. But I have to be normal. If I can’t be normal, I have to pretend. Yes, that’s it. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal n̶o̶t̶ ̶n̶o̶r̶m̶a̶l̶. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal. Pretend. Be normal i̶'̶m̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶n̶o̶r̶m̶a̶l̶

Artemis let out a heavy sigh and it felt like a crippling weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. She wiped them away with her arm. Kal’dur sent them an amused look.

That was easy. Maybe even a little fun. Lying to my team is fun. I love lying to my team. I’ll lie to my team whenever my ideal boyfriend wants a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶s̶

“Alright. I get it. i̶'̶m̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶l̶o̶n̶e̶ You can stop hugging me now, M’gann.”

The red-haired Martian persisted for a few moments before disengaging from the hug. Artemis turned to glare at her, but the innocent look on the girl’s face made it impossible. The Martian wore her form-fitting black costume with a red Martian X across her ample chest.

Big tits, a beautiful, exotic face, and a nice bubble butt. Those are things my ideal boyfriend likes. I wonder if M’gann knows. I can’t let her pluck that secret from my head. She can’t know he wants her, too.

Behind her, the rest of her team was sending her friendly smiles or glaring at Wally, who seemed to want to make himself seem as small as possible. If she didn’t have to act normal, she’d have laughed at him.

She opted to sigh instead.

“Thanks guys,” she said, a fake smile coming naturally to her lips.

Slutty dicksucking lips w̶r̶a̶p̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶a̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶d̶a̶d̶d̶y̶'̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶c̶k̶

Robin grinned. She wondered if he’d still smile if he knew what she’d really been thinking.

“Don’t mention it, Artemis.”

A notification sound chirped from the bioship’s hull.

M’gann closed her eyes briefly as she interfaced with her ship.

“We’re over the target site now. I’m getting a read on sixteen human biosigns within the facility below.”

“Any metahumans?” Kal’dur’s face grew severe.

“Unknown,” M’gann shook her head.

Kal’dur nodded, slipping from comforting friend to the leader of one of the most effective superhero teams on the planet with an ease that always astonished Artemis.

I think my ideal boyfriend would be a great leader m̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶. Kal’dur definitely wouldn’t measure up. He looks down on me because of who my family is. He doesn’t give a shit about me. He doesn’t give a shit about me. He… hates me. He hates me. He hates me. He hates me. He hates me. He hates me. He hates me.

She wanted to throw up.

She shook her head and listened as Kal’dur described his plan for infiltrating and subduing the Light base.

“You’ll break off into pairs and approach the facility from multiple vectors. Superboy and Flash will take the North side. Zatanna and Robin. You’ll approach from the East. Artemis and Miss Martian will come in from the West. The South side is nestled next to a river so that’s where I’ll be making my entrance. M’gann will keep us in contact with her telepathy like always.”

The Martian girl nodded and smiled at Artemis. She felt the alien’s mind invade hers like a parasite squirming its way into her brain.

She grimaced. If M’gann noticed her discomfort, she didn’t comment on it.

Or maybe she doesn’t care. Heh. Good thing I’ve practiced hiding my thoughts from her. It’d be bad if she found out about my ideal boyfriend. He’s the only person in this fucked up world who could ever love me.

{Okay, link’s all set up. Can everyone hear me?}

The team immediately responded in the affirmative.

{You know what to do everyone. Let’s finish this fight and make it home in time for dinner.} Kal’dur spoke over their mental link. The bioship’s ramp opened with an organic squishing sound that made Artemis cringe every time she heard it. Cool air from outside the bioship nipped at her skin. The Atlantian took off in a run, diving off the ramp before disappearing to the river below without so much as a splash.

The bioship moved, quickly depositing the others in their respective positions. Finally, Miss Martian stood next to Artemis on the ramp. The sun had just set in the sky, leaving the forested landscape beyond dark aside from the distant somber light of Gotham beyond. Her eyes were drawn to the sight of the city.

Is he there? My ideal boyfriend? The man I love d̶a̶d̶d̶y̶?̶

She licked her lips. Her pussy clenched. She felt something spread her lips and enter her. She let out a whispered moan.

{You alright there, Artemis?} M’gann whispered telepathically. Artemis wanted to nock an arrow and make the alien shut up.

{I’m good. Let’s get going.} She growled back.

M’gann raised her eyebrows before nodding.

The Martian manifested a telekinetic field around them, lifting them off the bioship’s floor and carrying them out into the air.

They hovered to the ground moments later. With a silent nod to each other, the two young women set off toward the abandoned factory the Light had decided to use as a base. The structure was three stories tall and composed of brick and concrete that had begun to crack from the twin killers of age and neglect.

{I’m not seeing any sentries. Are we sure the Light’s here?} Artemis wondered.

{Batman confirmed it. The guy rarely makes mistakes.} M’gann replied.

Artemis wasn’t so sure. The Light had successfully brought the Caped Crusader under their control along with the rest of the Justice League. It had fallen to her team to save them as well the rest of the world from the Light’s machinations. Batman might have been one of the greatest investigative minds on Earth, but even he could be outmaneuvered and defeated.

We shouldn’t be here.

They entered the building unmolested. Not a soul greeted them inside. Artemis strapped on a pair of night vision goggles to better see inside. Chairs, tables, desks, and papers were strewn about throughout the structure. But there were no lights, and no sign of any recent habitation.

M’gann didn’t say much of anything as they searched the structure. Even more strange, her teammates barely communicated at all beyond announcing that they had entered the factory and were making their way towards its center.

She glanced at her partner.

The Martian seemed content to walk next to her, idly humming some tune she’d probably heard on television.

She thought about telling her to stop, but decided against it. The humming was soothing, somehow. Comforting. And so far, it looked like Batman had been wrong and they really were wasting their time here.

I could be in Gotham right now looking for him. d̶a̶d̶d̶y̶ I… I have to find him. I have to tell him how much he means to me. Will he believe me? Everyone else hates me. What if he m̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ rejects me?

Artemis shook her head. Flashes of a boy with dark hair and piercing blue eyes flickered through her mind. She smiled.

Somehow I doubt he will. I think he’ll be the first person in my life to accept me. Really accept me. I want that more than I’ve wanted anything in my life.

She knew he was real and important to her. Far more important than her team or anyone else in her life for that matter. She didn’t know why, and that scared her. She wanted to know why she loved the vision of a man more than the people who’d been closest to her before she realized how much of a lie their love for her had been.

The green tint of her night vision goggles crackled and whispered words she could almost hear. It felt like she was listening through her eyes and through the air that washed against her skin. The words soothed her more than the embrace of her own mother.

She stopped in front of a set of large metal doors.

{M’gann, I think I found something. M’gann?} she spun around, and found no sign of M’gann. Her heart quickened. She tried contacting the rest of the team. {Guys, I’ve lost sight of M’gann. Conner? Wally? Zatanna? Robin? Can any of you hear me?}

No one responded.

She switched on her communicator.

“This is Artemis. _t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶l̶e̶f̶t̶ ̶m̶e̶ _Please respond.”

Static was the only reply. A smile tugged at her lips.

t̶h̶e̶y̶'̶r̶e̶ ̶g̶o̶n̶e̶ God, why does the static sound so good? Why the fuck am I smiling?

She bit her lip and faced the metal door again.

I have to go in. i̶ ̶n̶e̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ There’s something I have to see. But how do I open it? That door looks powered and there’s no electricity running through here.

As if hearing her thoughts, the doors squeaked open, revealing a brightly lit room beyond. The light was blinding, but she couldn’t close her eyes.

The first thing she saw was a shirtless man strapped to a chair. He had dark hair and his were closed. Her eyes traced his toned chest hungrily. She walked into the room numbly and thoughtlessly, as if in a trance.

Her footsteps echoed off of the tiled floor as she approached him. She reached out a hand to touch him.

“That’s close enough, Artemis.”

She whirled around towards the sound of the voice. Aqualad stood at the entrance of the room. Behind him was the rest of the team. Their stances were guarded, but their eyes regarded her with something akin to hostility. Every instinct screamed at her to draw her bow. To protect the boy strapped to the chair.

So they did hear me. They just chose not to respond. Why'd they leave me? What’s all this about?

“M’gann, where’d you go? Why’d you just leave me there like that?”

Miss Martian smirked at her. The normally naïve, sweet girl looked anything but.

“Oh, Artemis. I used to think you were so strong and willful. You’re the last person on the team I thought would succumb to mental programming, but it turns out you were the first.”

She frowned. She searched the faces of her other teammates, but none of them seemed surprised by what M’gann had said.

“What the hell are you talking about? s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶ I think I’d know if someone tried to brainwash me,” she growled.

“No you wouldn’t. Trust me on that, Artemis,” that was Conner. The tall Kryptonian-human hybrid gave her a knowing expression, and she was instantly reminded of the fact that the Light had controlled him upon his first waking moments. A sliver of doubt coursed through her.

She focused on the breathing of the boy in the chair. The sound of air entering and leaving his lungs was so crisp and seren. It exhilerated her and brought her mind back into focus.

s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶ No, I’m not brainwashed. s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶ I’m more me now than I’ve ever been s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶

Her fingers twitched, as if grasping an arrow. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

“Where are all the Light thugs you said were hiding out here?”

M’gann’s smile faltered.

“There aren’t any. The Light was disbanded years ago. All the last holdouts folded after we freed the Justice League.”

Artemis’ eyebrows rose.

“So you all lied to me. But why? What was so important that you needed to get me to this abandoned building? Who’s the guy you’ve got strapped to a chair?”

She cursed herself for her slip-up. She shouldn’t have brought attention to him.

l̶o̶v̶e̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ They’ll hurt him now. i̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ I just know it.

Wally stepped forward. His expression seemed torn.

“We’re not really in a factory, Artemis. We’re back in Mount Justice and you’re in a medically-induced coma to stop you from hurting anyone.”

Artemis’ eyes widened.

“What?” she croaked.

Wally looked like he wanted to hug her, but he held himself back.

He’s afraid.

“M’gann is helping us communicate with you in your mind. You… you were **** by a therapist named Harleen Quinzel. She wanted to brainwash you to be a **** to a guy named-”

“You fucking liar!” she snarled, drawing her bow and nocking an arrow. She pointed the weapon at him. “We’re not in my head. This is just some sick game Batman’s making you pull to test my loyalty, isn’t it? After Roy Harper ended up being a mole, he needs to break us all down to see if the Light left anything in our heads because he fucked up! And you’re just letting him do it! Why?”

Wally’s green eyes widened with a sickening level of fear.

He betrayed me. He’s afraid of me, but why? Why do any of this?

Robin stood in front of Wally. The Boy Wonder had grown significantly in the past two years, both physically and as a person. He’d once been the shortest member of their team. Now he now stood taller than Wally.

“Artemis, please listen to reason. You know us. We’ve saved each other’s lives time and time again. You know we wouldn’t be doing this without good reason,” he took another step towards her, seemingly uncaring of the fact that she had an arrow aimed at his heart. Robin was fast, but this close and even he would be hard-pressed to dodge one of her arrows. One slip of her fingers, and he’d die. He had to know that.

She stared at her hands that held the bow and arrow pointed at her teammate.

W-what am I doing?

Artemis dropped the weapon like it was a snake about to bite her.

Robin gave her a comforting smile.

“Heh. Even though we’re in your head, I was still pretty whelmed for a second there.”

Artemis felt sick. She hated herself, crying as she was surrounded by her pitying teammates. She’d threatened to kill them just for helping her.

“I’m… god, I’m so sorry. I didn’t… How could I have?”

M’gann approached her and put an arm on her shoulder.

“It’s not your fault. Doctor Quinzel and her master spent a lot of time turning your mind against itself and the people you love. We’re going to put it right. You’ll be normal again before you know it. There’s just one thing you need to do.”

“What?” she latched on to M’gann’s words like a drowning woman to raft.

“It’s simple,” the Martian crossed her arms under her breasts, pushing them upward. “You have to kill the man in the chair.”

Artemis gasped. She couldn’t believe what she’d just heard.

“What?!”

She pictured the man with one of her arrows protruding from his skull. Her heart roared in her chest.

“It’s okay, Artemis. The man who brainwashed you left a figment of his mind inside yours. It’s not a real person,” Zatanna said. “My spells confirmed that. You’re not possessed in any way.”

She wanted to cry. She felt like throwing up.

M’gann stepped forward. “She’s right. The only reason he hasn’t taken control over you is that I’ve beaten back his programming to a single corner of your mind. That’s where we are right now. Unfortunately the figment is resisting my telepathic abilities. That’s why you have to destroy it yourself. If it has time to get free, you… you won’t be Artemis Crock anymore. You’ll be someone else entirely. Please, Artemis. I don’t want to lose you.”

She glanced back at the man in the chair. His breathing had become more labored.

d̶a̶d̶d̶y̶ He sounds sad. m̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ Sad and alone. i̶'̶m̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶l̶o̶n̶e̶ Just like me. i̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶ I can’t kill him. i̶'̶m̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ I won’t.

Wally piped up.

“You can do it, Artemis. You’re still the strong non-nonsense spitfire I fell in love with.”

Tears streamed down her cheeks. Her lips trembled into a vicious smile.

No, I’m not. I never was and you never loved me.

Artemis turned abruptly and ran towards the boy strapped to the chair. She began ripping off his restraints.

I have to free him! Let him take control!

“Stop her!”

The boy’s eyes flicked open, and suddenly she knew who he was.

Derek Taylor stood from the chair, somehow resembling a knight from legend. Except he felt like more than that now. Like a king or a lord that she would happily **** away for until the day she died. He stood in front of her, shielding her from the people she once thought were her friends.

He glanced back at her and smiled. Her knees trembled.

“Kill them,” he ordered.

Yes, Daddy.

She drew her bow again and aimed an arrow at Wally, repeating her last thought like a mantra in her mind.

“Wait-”

She let the arrow fly. It struck true, skewering her boyfriend through the eye. He fell like a puppet with its strings cut.

Hope you liked that, Daddy.

“No!” Superboy launched himself at her, but she’d fired her next arrow. Ever since the League had been co-opted by the Light, she’d kept a kryptonite arrow on her just in case. Conner shared his genetic donor’s vulnerability to the extraterrestrial mineral, dying to an arrow that pierced his heart.

Sorry, Conner. I have to obey Daddy.

She fired off an incendiary arrow at Miss Martian, delighting in the way the alien woman burned until nothing remained.

Anything for Daddy.

The rest died easily to her remaining arrows, falling to the floor before disappearing in a flash of white light. For a moment, she thought she glimpsed her own face in all of them.

Where'd their bodies go? Did Daddy make them disappear?

She gazed at her daddy questioningly, even as her eyes greedily drank in his form. He was perfect. Completely and utterly perfect. The ideal boyfriend.

“Nice work, Artemis. I never knew you had it in you,” he said proudly, and it all she could do not to collapse from the ensuing orgasm that rippled through her at his praise. She refrained from doing so because she knew he wanted someone stronger than that.

“Thanks, Daddy. You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear you say that.”

He chuckled at her and glanced at something over his shoulder.

“Harleen, I think she’s done cooking. Wake her up.”

Before she could ask Derek what he was talking about, she heard something that sounded vaguely like fingers snapping. The world melted around her and suddenly she found herself in the dark room again. She was lying down on what looked like a medical bed.

How did I get here?

She gasped. Something probed at the edge of her pussy.

“Daddy?”

The man she loved came into focus in front of her. He stood at the foot of the bed. Her legs were spread and lifted over his shoulders. His cock was out, resting against her tingling pussy.

Her heart skipped a beat as all of her questions died away. She’d finally gotten what she’d always wanted. She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

He’s here! My ideal boyfriend. My Daddy. My Master. The one person in this godforsaken world who’ll accept me no matter what.

Movement drew her attention to a person lingering behind Derek. Doctor Harleen Quinzel was completely naked, her big pale tits jiggled as she latched on to Derek's arm.

“Oo. You gonna fuck her again, huh Derek? I don’t know why you bother with her when you have me. I’ll do anything you want, remember?”

Artemis wanted to slug the woman in the head for touching her boyfriend, but held herself back when a powerful thought pulsed through her mind.

A guy like Daddy's going to have a lot of sluts worshiping and having sex with him. It’s only natural for someone so powerful.

That didn’t mean she had to like the creepy therapist, though.

“Fuck off Harleen. You probably wouldn’t know the first thing about making Daddy happy. And just for the record, I will do absolutely anything for him, so shut the fuck up about things you don’t understand,” she growled.

The woman’s eyes widened momentarily, before narrowing. She looked like she wanted to respond before Derek interrupted her.

"Go and sit down, Harleen. I couldn't have done this without you, so don't worry. You'll get your turn soon," he stroked the woman's side. Harleen quivered as her pussy gushed.

"Y-you got it, Derek."

The therapist sent her a dark smirk before she walked to the other side of the room, finding a cushioned chair and sitting down.

I get the sense Harleen isn’t going to let up until she’s Daddy's main bitch. Well, good luck with that. You’re gonna need it.

She stared up into Derek's perfect eyes.

“Daddy, can you please fuck me?”

His dick pulsed, sending tremors of pleasure coursing through her body.

“You want me to fuck you?” he said huskily.

She nodded fervently, causing her breasts to jiggle. The movement drew Derek's gaze and she instantly knew she’d get what she wanted.

I love it when Daddy fucks me.

“Yes, Daddy.”

"How should I fuck you, Artemis?"

He stroked his cock against the folds of her pussy. She almost mewled in frustration.

"Anyway you want. My pussy belongs to you."

Derek smirked.

“Good girl,” he pressed forward.

As his perfect cock entered her, all thoughts of her team and her family washed away. There was only Derek, her Daddy. Her Master. Her one true light in a dark, miserable world. He filled her so completely she wondered how she’d ever existed without him.

I was barely a person before I met him.

She realized shakily.

His cock began pumping in and out of her, fucking her like the little whore she was.

She moaned and gasped as he built up a rhythm.

As they fucked over the next half hour or so, Artemis dimly remembered rejecting him. She remembered how persistent he’d been at school, and how conflicted she’d been when he’d finally fucked her for the first time. She’d been such a fool. A terrible ****. She fully intended to make up for her past misbehavior.

“Yes, Daddy! Oh! Right there!” she screamed when his cock slammed against her cervix, stretching her and claiming every inch of her pussy as his own. She couldn’t wait until he did the same to her mouth and her ass.

“Oh fuck,” he grunted. “Artemis, you’re so tight. God, I love you so much. You have no idea.”

She smiled up at him.

“I love you too. Let me show you how much.”

She lifted her legs off his shoulders and wrapped them around his waist, drawing him further inside her. She squeezed her cunt muscles around his cock.

“Holy shit. Fuck, Artemis I’m gonna cum.”

She smiled.

“Yes, Daddy! Cum inside me! Fill me up!”

Her lover grunted, and she felt his hard cock spew his hot baby batter into her fertile pussy. He slumped atop her. She accepted him, cradling him with her arms. His cock was still inside her, where it belonged.
