It was Mr. Hunt in the doorway, dressed for work in jacket and tie, leering appreciatively at David’s Michelle Hunt body. “Looking great, even without your memories,” he said. “But you’re still just not yourself,” and he took from his inside jacket pocket the brown “pen” and zapped David right in his Michelle face. The memories that went with the female body cascaded into David’s mind, and when Mr. Hunt seized and hungrily kissed his wife’s body, the self in it genuinely believed she was the real Michelle Hunt, and responded with enthusiasm.
When at length they broke things off, Michelle Hunt remembered that she’d actually been David, her daughter Jessica’s boyfriend. “Jessica?” she asked her husband.
“I’m no more my daughter than you are her boyfriend, honey,” he said, and winked.
