Staying frosty, Lexs' exit

Male and female Lex smiled at one another as a wonderful idea came to mind. They envisioned a beautiful waterspout ascending toward the rope being frozen into a threaded screw. "I wonder if I can pull that off..." They said before looking out at the lake. 'There's only one way to find out...' He placed his hands down on the ground as if at the starting line for a race. She on the other hand moved out of the way since she knew what was about to come. Once the way was clear, he vanished from view.

A loud boom was heard as the air where male Lex had been collapsed in on itself when he dashed forward, moving at this speed allowed him to very easily run on water. For half a second everything was distorted. When their vision cleared, female Lex watched in amazement as the water began to shift, stirring quickly into a mighty whirlpool. After fifteen seconds of swirling, he changed direction, causing the inner most water to stir in the other direction and rise, forming a waterspout. She gasped while watching in both delight and concern. Who would have thought they would have ever achieved such physical prowess?

The whirlpool fed more and more water into the waterspout, allowing it to ascend quickly. Once it was high enough, female Lex dashed in. Although she wasn't as fast, this would allow her to maintain the waterspout in male Lex's stead. As she dashed in, male Lex dashed out before turning around to watch the swirling waterspout. He was surprised to see about half of the lake was drained. "All right. I just need to rush into the waterspout at the right angle and continue to do so as I ascend its side. This'll be fun..."

Male Lex carefully focused on where he needed to run in. Once he was ready, he dashed in while casting Remorseless Winter. - 200 Mp The air around him began to swirl after the air where he had been collapsed in on itself, creating another loud boom. Luckily this didn't affect the air around him. However, because of his momentum it increased the chilling effect many times over. Female Lex dashed out just as he came in, her body trembled feeling just how frigid the air was. - 90 Hp When she turned around, she watched in delight as the waterspout quickly turned into a frozen threaded screw.

Female Lex saw the water's surface crystalize into ice, but what was truly beautiful was the swirling vortex within slowly coming to a halt. Male Lex felt the last bit of water hitting his face while practically flying off the waterspout, the last few feet turning into ice behind him. She looked to where he was headed, giving him extra time to realize what was about to happen. He positioned himself so his feet would slam into the wall. He was hoping to absorb some of the impact by squatting, allowing his legs to absorb some of the shock. - 100 Hp

Male Lex winced slightly in pain, but it wasn't as bad as he thought. Luckily, it was a short fall to the ground from there. Once he was on the ground, they looked back to the waterspout. They both smiled, seeing the results of their work. Several rainbows had formed around the frozen waterspout within the shimmering water particles that had fallen around it. Each water particle looked like a shining star in the night sky.

At the same time, just above the underground cavern

Sofia, Dempsey, Fauve, and Ziksa were looking into the hole while Torral wrote something down in a notebook she had made. Sadly, it was clear the vine rope was nowhere near the water below. Sofia glanced over at the tree they had tied the rope to. "How long do you think it'll take to scrounge up enough vines to make this rope long enough Ziksa?" Ziksa checked the distance of the rope before glancing down the hole again. "Maybe ten minutes if I'm lucky." Fauve leaned gently against Ziksa. "I think we can do it in five."

Ziksa lifted a brow. "Do you plan to really help this time?" Fauve stuck out her tongue at Ziksa. "I was actually helping last time. Or did you forget?" Ziksa grinned. "Yes, you helped me find a few vines when you screamed. If I remember correctly, you scared off a few bugs too, right?" Fauve's cheeks turned bright red while pouting. "I only screamed because they surprised me." Dempsey started to chuckle. "I didn't know you were scared of bugs." She grumbled. "You would have screamed too. They were big and popped up out of nowhere." Ziksa chuckled while shaking her head. "Never mind all that. Let's hurry, daddy needs our help."

As Ziksa and Fauve walked toward the forest, a loud boom was heard from below. Everyone's eyes widened. Dempsey and Torral hugged one another tightly while Ziksa and Fauve struggled to stay standing. Sofia's hair turned white, forming several question marks and exclamation marks at the same time. "The hell was what!?" Dempsey swallowed before looking down into the hole. He was just in time to see a whirlpool form before shifting into the start of a waterspout. "The water's rising!!" He said, turning around to grab Torral and run away from the hole.

Sofia, Ziksa, and Fauve followed. After twenty seconds or so, there was nothing. Torral smiled to Dempsey. "I think it's okay to let me down now. Dempsey nodded, but as soon as he did, another loud boom was heard. She clung to him tightly. "I changed my mind!" She quivered while pressing as close as she could to him. Sofia, Ziksa, and Fauve stayed nearby. Sofia's hair slowly returned to normal. "Is that..?"

Shortly after looking at those water particles, two different notifications appeared in the middle of Lexs' view.
