The Chicken Restaurant

I decide on the chicken place and signal to turn to it. I pull into the gravel parking lot, my car swaying with each bump. I park and turn off my car, getting out. I look around. There's only two cars in the parking lot and the restaurant is in a brown, dated building. I can see some of the boards coming loose on the front and smell the chicken being cooked, making my stomach rumble. I head to the door and walk in.

The inside of the restaurant is not much better. There's stains all over the ceiling and the floor has spots over it. There's only 5 tables, and to my left is the counter with the kitchen behind it. I realize there's no ac here either, and I can feel sweat starting to form. There's only two people in the restaurant, two men who look to be in their 50s. They're both overweight, and have long beards. I can see chest hair sticking out of their shirts. I catch them looking at me. I consider leaving and going to the other restaurant, but an employee comes out of the kitchen and greets me.

I order my food and pay for it and sit down as far as I can from the men. A while later, my food arrives and I eat it.

Once I'm done, I get up and throw the plate away and head to the bathroom. When I get to the bathroom, I see there's only one and the lock looks like it doesn't work. Sighing, I open the door and walk in.
