Jesse follows Rebecca into Shannon's Trap

Rebecca was quickly walking through the mall like before but was no longer distracted. She kept an eye out for anyone suspicious or anyone watching the crowds. Rebecca was out of petty cash. She couldn't bribe the next sentry that spotted her. She made the last turn and saw her destination.

"Aw, there you are, my beautiful store, and I made good time," Rebecca said happily looking down at her phone.

"Scratch that ... 80 minutes isn't exactly a good time for rushing over to my own store," Rebecca said frustrated.

"You own Rebecca's?" Jesse asked.

"Holy Hell!" Rebecca said jumping turning to face whoever was behind her.

"Aw it's you again," Rebecca said sighing

"Are you the Rebecca of Rebecca's?" Jesse said eyeing the store in the distance.

"Sure am," Rebecca said looking around, still worried that another sentry might spot her.

"You followed me? Did you want to get an interview today?" Shannon said returning her focus to the blond.

"Yes ... my name is Jessica. My friends call me Jesse. " Jesse said holding out her hand.

"What is your education and work experience?" Rebecca said shaking Jesse's hand. All the while looking at the people passing.

"Are you looking for someone?" Jesse said trying to follow Rebecca's gaze.

"No ... well yes ... You know your fellow sentries. I don't trust Shannon and Luke to only hire one lookout." Rebecca said turning back to Jesse.

"Jesse let's get inside, I am super late as it is," Rebecca said ushering her to follow.

Jesse had no idea what Rebecca was talking about. But she could play along and see if this landed her a better paying job than a stripper. Jesse had never been good at dancing.

Rebecca took a deep breath and sighed in relief as both Jesse and her entered the store.

"Hey Boss, great timing" Ashley said raising a hand from behind the counter.

Ashley almost didn't recognize Rebecca dressed in a suit. But she recognized her once she saw her face. She never forgot a face. Photographic memory had its perks.

"Ashely, how's my favorite Trivia queen?" Rebecca said walking closer.

"Fine fine, who's your friend?" Ashley said eyeing Jesse.

Ashley memorized the woman in an instant. She was average height, a little slim, her face was pretty, and framed by golden blond hair.

"Where are my manners, this is Jesse, she wanted to interview for a job here." Rebecca happily placing a hand on Jesse's shoulder.

Ashley considered the implication of joining the store roster ... today of all days.

"Rebecca do you know about Shannon's new store policy?" Ashley said while re-examining Jesse.

Ashly knew that the new store policy would **** a new hire to get knocked up. At that conclusion, Ashley's mind was filled with visions of Jesse being heavily pregnant. She would look super sexy.

Ashley froze for a moment. Her mind raced. WTF Did she just daydream of another woman pregnant? And thought she would look good? Shit, I think Penny's Pregnancy fetish is contagious? Or those fucking passes are to blame. My head has been a little fuzzy ever since Luke fucked me in the locker room.

"No, what policy? When was it enacted?" Rebecca asked tapping her chin.

"Today .. but never mind that, you can discuss the new policy with Shannon over lunch. I need to close the shop. " Ashley said being pulled from her internal thoughts.

"Close? ... what for?" Rebecca said eyeing the store.

"Oh, you must not have heard. Shannon called everyone into the store to make a few announcements. She plans to close the store from 1:30 to 2:00. Shannon got her cousin Liz to help cater lunch from the Grande Donna." Ashley said walking to the entrance before pulling down the storefront security gate.

"Oh, I heard about the catering," Rebecca said remembering the promise of a Chocolate cake.

"Ashely will there be enough for everyone?" Rebecca said turning to Jesse.

"Should be. Olivia and Liz brought a whole cart of food." Ashley said pointing to the kitchens.

"What do you say, Jesse? Care to join me for lunch before we get you an interview?" Rebecca said cheerfully.

"Sure, I have heard of the Grande Donna. But I have never eaten there ... it's too expensive." Jesse said watching the gate close.

"Well, you are in for a treat. I have been there a few times. Each time was amazing. I would go more often but ... I would be the size of a house." Rebecca said leading Jesse into the back.

"There Cake is to die fore. Thank God for yoga. Without exercise, my sweet tooth would have made me the size of a barn by now." Rebecca said laughing.

Ashly finished locking the security gate and decided to tell Shannon about Rebecca's arrival.
