Katie hates Crowds and Pricks

Katie was on cloud nine. She got a kiss from Brinda. Yes, it was on the cheek but still. A kiss could lead to more kisses and even kissing. Katie's thoughts kept repeating "Were they a couple now? No ... no ... they are just close friends ... but maybe ...".

"What do you think Katie?" Brinda asked.

"Oh I agree, the season finale could have been better," Katie said quickly.

"Right?!" Brinda said cheerfully.

Katie sighed as Brinda continued chatting. The redhead was relieved that her Indian Goddess didn't notice her overly quick response. Katie might get distracted by pretty women but never stopped observing her surroundings. Years of therapy and practice helped Katie talk while navigating crowds. She hated crowds. So many people, so close together, attackers could get close. The past 2 years of MMA mixed martial arts training helped her to never let her guard down. Even if her guard meant holding a conversation.

"Sure are a lot of people here, even for a Saturday," Brinda said as they walked to the Sunny Day Mall North Entrance.

"I agree, it does seem oddly popular today," Katie said scanning the crowds.

"Maybe there is a sale or special event. I will check online." Brinda said pulling out her phone.

Katie kept walking before freezing up. Brinda had grabbed Katie's hand.

"What are you doing?" Katie said nervously.

"Oh, sorry," Brinda said letting go of Katie's hand.

"I just wanted to keep walking as I looked at my phone. It is already 12:45 PM. We should keep walking to reach the store before the party starts." Brinda explained sheepishly.

"No I should apologize, I'm sorry ... you startled me, ... I ... am just on edge ... your kiss got me fired up ... my heart rate won't slow down," Katie said before looking away while turning red.

"Aww, is my big buff friend weak to my kisses?" Brinda said smiling.

"No ... I am just ... a little riled up," Katie said nervously.

"Besides I don't much like crowds," Katie said looking back at the hordes of people.

"You should keep looking for an explanation. Here take my arm." Katie said proffering her left elbow to Brinda.

Smiling Brinda looped her arm through Katies and returned to her phone.

They were quiet as they walked. Katie was growing nervous as they approached the mall's entrance. It seemed strange how everyone was picking up a pamphlet from a man in a dark green hoodie and green pants.

"Odd color for pants" Katie whispered to herself.

Katie grew alarmed at how her body was following the crowds. She and Brinda stepped into line and took a card from the man in green. Katie was taken aback, her mind raced "Why did she take a pamphlet? Why can't I remember the hooded man's face?". The confusion was quickly forgotten as Katie and Brinda walked through the automatic doors into the giant Food Court. The pare walked a few yards before Katie stopped walking.

"I can't find anything going on today at the Sunny Day Mall. Maybe there is an event nearby and everyone is here for lunch?" Brinda said looking around. Turning back to her phone, Brinda mused "I will search for events at nearby parks and convention halls".

Katie didn't reply to Brinda as she eyed the giant room. Alarm bells were going off. Katie found strange trends amongst the shoppers. First, the lines and tables were filled with mostly women. Second, the women were ordering and eating very large portions. Lastly, there was a visible line across the room in front of the restrooms.

"Brinda, are you seeing what I am seeing?" Katie asked not looking down.

"Hmm ..." Brinda said still looking at her phone.

While her body was outwardly calm Katie's eyes were scanning for threats. She began to calm down, explaining the strange trends as a coincidence, but her heart rate rose again when eyeing two guys.

Two men were sitting at a table close to the entrance. Katie had taken enough self-defense classes to identify when she was being watched. They looked middle-aged and a little scruffy. Thinking of them as passive observers was quickly discarded as the men began to rise.

"Brinda, stay calm two pervs are coming our way," Katie said now staring at the men.

Katie tried balling her fists, only to find she was still carrying that card pamphlet. She quickly placed the card into her pocket.

The redhead was ready to talk with these pricks before something caught her eye. These guys were sporting woodies. This changed everything. Katie identified the predatory behavior of these men as a threat.

"Dam and today was going so well" Katie whispered.

"Brinda we're going to be late for your promotion if we mess with these pervs. Get ready to run." Katie said shaking her left arm free.

A second later Katie was walking fast. Straight for the threat. Katie thought turned to steel "If someone wants to get off messing with us, they have another thing coming."

The scruffy men were intrigued by the aggressive stare given by their next victim. But before they could approach the lesbian couple the aggressive redhead took a beeline right at them. The pare did not fear a confrontation between themselves and the buff woman. After all, they had first-hand experience using the powers of the 'Breeding Passes'. Little did they know that by losing the initiative they would lose the engagement. They were about to talk before ...

Katie punched both men in the throats. After her opening attack, Brinda followed up with strong kicks to each of the men's groins.

"Brinda! We're Leaving! Now!" Katie Shouted.

Brinda was shocked frozen from the violent turn of events. Katie ran back to Brinda.

"We have a party and a promotion to get to," Katie said while picking up Brinda into a princess carry.

The crowds made space as the large woman adeptly jogged through the mall.
