FA Day 10 - Friday

It's Friday.

Tiff wakes up you and your team. You start with a quick warm up, then you get a light breakfast, then a final team huddle in the locker rooms before you put on your game uniforms.

Tiff recaps yesterday's planning meetings briefly. The main concern with Team Green is the small group of military girls that all know each other. Their soccer technique isn't perfect, but they have excellent synergy and are extremely tough.

There's a sense of relief because the waiting is over. Now you just have to play.

You put your uniforms on and head out onto the field, where there are tons of cameras, and the bleachers are full. These are all FUTA employees and their guests... live viewership is limited while FUTA is still in this early stage.

At least half an hour of group photos, individual photos, and pre-game interviews go by before you're finally walking out there onto the field.

It's another beautiful, sunny day... but hot.

The game starts out full throttle and rough. Green Team is aggressive and focused. There's precision in everything they do... they have their playbook memorized, and they stick to it religiously.

The military girls aren't afraid to get rough, and it's making for a good show. Even the small live audience is pretty loud.

You see Michelle watching. Tiff might be your coach now, but Michelle will always be your real coach. You don't want to lose in front of her.

Or any of them... there's a lot on the line. You want to bring this home for your team too.

You know that by spending all your time at the spa, you've neglected your team. Because you know that, you defer to Lara on tactics and strategy. She knows the team better than you do, and Tiff has also been freed up by your efforts at the spa to be plugged in and working well with the girls.

The game gets off to a rough start because Green Team has so many tough girls that are ruthlessly organized.

Green Team scores on you almost immediately, and the difficult minutes that come after are really hard. Tiff calls a timeout and huddles with you and Lara.

"We have to make a move," Tiff says. She's leaned over, but you keep your eyes off her cleavage and on her face. "They're too clean. We have to break their structure. Someone has to go."

You understand what she's proposing. Green Team's teamwork is too strong. They're cold and calculated. You have to put them on tilt...

"Take out Monika," Lara suggests right away. "She's one of them, but she's one of the more girly ones. They feel protective of her. They'll be cross if we hurt her."

That's good reasoning... you can relate to it. If another team bullies someone like Max or Viti on your team, you'd be pissed. Green Team will react the same way.

"Then what about Rin instead? She's definitely the most, uh, delicate," you say, glancing across the field at the other team. Rin is a shocking beauty, and delicate is the best word for her. She is so pretty, and you can tell without even interacting with her that she is pure sweetness. Green Team will definitely be mad if someone takes her out.

And you can't go after them both because there's a risk of carding out. If this goes wrong, you can't afford to lose more than one player.

"Make the call, Riley," Tiff says.

Take down Monika? Or take down Rin?
