FA Day 10 - Take down Monika

"Monika," you say. You don't have the heart to order a hit on Rin. She's too pure.

You all head back into the game, and it only gets nastier. The plan doesn't work. Taking Monika out is easy. She's skilled, but she can't singlehandedly protect herself from a brutal ****. She goes down pretty easily, but... the army girls are not fazed by it like you hoped they would be.

However, as the game goes on, their gameplay falters. It's possible that Monika might have been the brains on their team... that might explain it. You and Lara try a few tricky plays, and Green Team struggles to adapt.

It's a devastating battle, but in the end you're tied: 1 to 1. During the following shootout, the army girls' toughness does them no good. Penalty kicks are about skill, not power, and your team has the advantage there. You edge it out and win.

All the tension from past few days come out. The girls jump and scream excitedly, and though the audience is not big, they make plenty of noise. Tiff is super happy.

A bottle of water is pushed into your hands, and you go straight to your interview with Moxxi and Lulu. You give all the credit to your team, and compliment Green Team too... that's how it's done.

After that you text your family, then join the other girls to shower off and get going... FUTA wastes no time. They want the girls out of camp for the weekend. The winners are immediately being bussed to the Lodge, and the losers are getting on a bus to go... wherever they are going.

Everyone is worn out. They all talked big about what they were going to do at the Lodge... get in the pool, or try to go shopping and stuff... but all anyone can do is drink water and take it easy.

For dinner, you get food that is way better than the food at camp. It's like a feast... It's really nice, and the positive energy in your team is huge after the win. FUTA can be stressful, but it can also be really fun. There are so many selfies happening, but those are the only cameras... after the photo sessions and interviews after the game, FUTA kept its promise. For the weekend, you have privacy. The three winning teams at the Lodge make it feel full, but not crowded. Everyone is in a good mood.

You have new respect for Lara, who scored the winning goal, and your team is all over your for leading them to victory. You're exhausted, and so is everyone else. Some of them have enough energy to lie around on couches, eating popcorn and watching a horror movie, but you and Lara go back to your room, where you lie on your bed and facetime with your family as Lara showers. You hang up as she comes out, drying off her fit body. You don't look.

"Are you going to hook up with Sam?" she asks you bluntly as she towels off her hair.

"What?" you say.

"She has a thing for you," she says.

Oh. You haven't had time to notice things like that this week.

"I don't know," you say uncertainly. You don't know Sam very well. She's cute. And she likes you? That's neat...

Lara pulls on some little shorts and a tank top, then climbs into bed.

"I might try and chat up Viti," she muses.

Your phone beeps. You just got a text from Tiff. She wants you to come see her. You didn't know she was here at the Lodge too.

"What is it?" Lara asks as you get up from your bed.

"It's Tiff," you tell her, going to the door.

"You're leaving?" Lara looks very disappointed. You stare at her.

"I thought you were hooking up with Viti," you say, confused.

"Well, tomorrow. Or Sunday," she replies, looking at you like that's totally normal to say. "I had other plans tonight. But all right." She waves a hand dramatically. "Go on. Leave me. I do like watching you leave," she says.

Blushing, you go out into the hall. You definitely didn't pay enough attention to your own team. It's flattering, but it's also a surprise.

You head upstairs to the third floor, where Tiff's room apparently is. You go inside, finding Tiff wearing her usual sporty clothes and... Amy, who has on the laciest, super cute teddy. They're drinking champagne on the bed.
