You're a sovereign citizen!

You summoned up all your courage from deep within your bones. Hundreds of YouTube videos had been preparing you for this exact moment.

You barked your answer at the dogs of the state.

"I know my rights! I'm a sovereign citizen! I have not entered into joinder with you. The Magna Carta says you can't touch me. So get lost!"

The smaller, more serious cop thwapped her forehead so hard it hurt to hear it.

"Not one of these... Not today..." She mumbled.

The bigger, badder cop had a grin on her face. It spread from ear to ear. She cracked her knuckles back and forth.

"You wanna go, little man?"

Your voice caught in your throat. The police weren't meant to threaten you...

"T-That's ****. You don't have jurisdiction here!"

The blonde badass grabbed onto your shirt and tugged you forwards. Her menacing smile shone down on you from above.

"How about I prove to you who's really in control?"

You turned your panicked eyes to the stern cop by her side. Funny how you wanted protection from the "illegitimate" police the moment you were in trouble.

"Sir, you are obstructing our investigation. I warn you, any male who refuses to co-operate may be subdued to ensure compliance."

The cop gripping onto you leaned down till her eyes were an inch from yours. Her free hand was fondling something below her belt, but you couldn't see what.

"Tell me that you won't let us in. Say that again. One more time and I'll have probable cause to go 'through you.'"

The blood drained from your face. You didn't want these cops to beat your ass, let alone fuck it. In an instant your words came pouring out a mile a minute.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know! You can come in! Please let me go!"

The blondie tisk-tisked and released you from her grasp. Her disappointment was palpable.

"Just when it was getting good..."

"Thank you for your cooperation. Now, take us to your mother's room. Officer Swanson – with me."

You lead them inside. You walked up the stairs. Your hands were shaking. Your legs were wobbling so much you clutched the bannister for support.

"This is my... Mother's room..."

Immediately they started turning the place over. The policewoman in charge meticulously examined each item and placed them aside. Officer Swanson rifled through your mother's belongings, chucking them over her head as she went.

You whispered timorously: "What are you looking for?"

Swanson groaned. "You wanna tell him, Yuki?"

'Yuki' glared at her partner. "I'm 'Officer Makoto.' Protocol, remember?" She turned to you and cleared her throat. "I cannot disclose that information at this time... Tell me, does your mother own a safe?"

"Like, with a combination and stuff?"

"Yes."

"I've never seen one of those..."

Makoto frowned and turned to her partner.

"Any luck, officer?"

"I got nothing. The only thing worth taking in this room is that cutie's sweet ass."

Reflexively you covered your tender cheeks with both hands.

"Sigh... Then we're done here. Let's go."

Makoto marched out of the room and down the stairs. Before Swanson followed her out, she stomped her way over to you. Her grin was back. She reached into her pocket. And took out a card.

"Here's my number. Contact me if you find that safe. I'm always happy to chat. Or more..."

One wink later and she was gone.
