The party continues awkwardly

Eventually, Joseph greeted the last guest, and the party really started. Mr. Clemon (being alumni of this fraternity) has actually been to four of these parties in the past. The party is more of a formality than an actual party, and it serves three purposes.

1. To reunite the Brother/Sister Fraternity/Sorority at the start of the semester.
2. To introduce all the new pledges as their first task as pledges is to work the party.
3. To introduce all the latest full members.

If you haven't noticed, 'having fun' is not one of those purposes. As a result, every party member usually is really stiff while trying to be on their best behavior. In years past, It would take hours for everyone to get drunk enough actually to start talking to each other.

Before today everyone thought that Harley was a very respectable woman that was far beyond their reach. As a result, the awkwardness of having Joseph walk her naked body around the party only made everyone only more stiff.

Eventually, Joseph pulled her into one of the bedrooms.
