You decide to try it on one of you

"It's obvious, isn't it bro?" Jimmy asks, fiddling with the pen in his hand. "We need to try it out on one of us to make sure it works."

You gulp, having a feeling that Jimmy would say that. It made sense that the two of you had to be sure that the pen worked and it also made sense to try it here in private before attempting to use it on someone else and embarrassing yourselves. "I guess so, but it's a bit scary, isn't it?"

Jimmy shrugged. "I don't think so. If the pen works then we know we can use them to our advantage. If they don't we had some fun thinking about the possibilities. Now are we gonna try this out on one of us, or not?"

You sigh and think it through. You did want to know if this really worked or not, but you didn't want to end up as a skin suit. Nor did you want to make your best friend one either, even if it was only going to be temporary.
