What Happens Next?
First Part of the Pairing Puzzle
Nyx grouped up with Evan and Clr'klinsa and tells them what she managed to find, "So, any idea what it's talking about? I didn't quite get it."
After a moment's thought, Evan said, "I think it wants to set up 3 pairs lovers, one that is two females, one that is two males, and one that is a male and female. We probably have to look around for the statues that have some semblance of facing each other in a romantic fashion and arrange it so that those two are facing each other and seemingly interacting in an intimate way, but that's all I'm getting."
"Maybe we also have to move them all to different positions in the room that imply intimacy as well," Clr'klinsa, "all the statues seem to be clustered together in some bizarre representation of a party or social event. Such an environment would mean lovers would want to separate from the crowd for personal time, or just get away from prying eyes that might look down unfavorably towards such a relationship."
"So many subtle details to take into account," said Nyx with confused fascination, "I will admit some cultural norms tend to escape me more than I would like."
"The real trick," said Evan, "is finding the appropriate statues and best placement for them in the room. Let's get to work finding the most likely candidates, chances are they all won't be the same race, given the company we seem to be in and variety of racial representations among the statues."
"That seems to be a fair assessment," said Nyx.
