Neighbourhood crime! (Also strange meteorite from space.)

For a change the national and local stories are connected. Reporters from everywhere have been flocking to the area to report on a recent meteorite that landed on the outskirts of the town, not far from your house. But of course that's pretty old news for you, as it happened a few days ago, so you flick through a few pages until you reach the local crime news. Apparently things have been getting quite hairy out there in town! Robberies and muggings are up, and there are reports of a number of strange random assaults by women of men they have only just met.

Weird, huh? But hopefully irrelevant, as it's time to get to work. The traffic is rather bad today, probably due to the influx of people gawking at the meteorite.
