Pretty badly at first.

Despite all of Catherine and the knights of Seiros efforts and skill, the battle turned to be against their favor so far, with endless hordes of demonic beasts attacking them left and right, for while under normal circumstances they were no match for them, with so many beasts coming them all at once, it was imposible to contain them all.

"Goddammit, how many of these beasts keep coming", Yelled Gilbert as he defended himself from a beast.

"I don't know, but we have to protect lady Rhea", replied Catherine as she continued to slay beast with her thunderbrand, only for each enemy she slayed, being replaced with ten more.

And so, the relentless demonic beast attacks kept coming, and while lady Rhea was still safe and untouched in her carriage, she had been seriously in danger of an attack more than a few times, if it were not for the timely intervention of her loyal knight Catherine.

Still, despite this small victory for the knights, the same couldn't have been said about the others, with Gilbert having seriously injured himself in the leg, and most of the younger knights were in the same fate. At this point, it was Catherine herself who was holding the battle line for everybody, being the most battle ready of them, yet, at the same time, she too wasn't all that untouched either, for while she didn't had any injury, her armour had suffered some serious damage, and had many holes all over it.

With the situation looking worse and worse by the minute, one would think that this would the end for Rhea and the knights of Seiros, yet, the battle is yet not lost, for there's still a way to turn things around in their favour.
